Wetmore Roofing

Got 3 bids on the same job.  Wetmore was one of the lower bids. I had used Wetmore before and was happy with their results. This time they did not disappoint.  I am happy with their work and would use them again.

I found beer cans at the job site.  The person who was supposed to be in charge of the project appeared drunk at times.  We kept having a leak at some of the places where the old rain gutters were cut off and at one part of the roof, after the job was done.  One of the workers kept coming out to fix it, but it kept leaking.  On his last visit, I found him climbing a ladder with a piece of cardboard.  When I asked him what he was doing, he said that he was going to put the cardboard over the vent to see if that would stop the leak!  I asked him to get down and not come back.  Someone else was sent out from the company who finally managed to fix the leak.
The roof began leaking this year. I went on our roof last winter and noticed that it was deteriorating badly.  This was a 40 year roof and has been on for 20 years.  I had two roofers out to inspect it and both of them said that the roof was installed incorrectly, invalidating the warranty.  Wetmore had used the old flashing in most places, rather than use new.  The valleys were not constructed properly.  The roof sags where they cut off the old interior rain gutters.  It also appears that they did not put plywood under the shingles.  We are having a new roof put on this year.  Would not use Wetmore again, as either an installer or supplier.

They were very nice, had answered my questions before I had even asked the, If there was a A++ rating I would give it to them. They were professional and timely. I could not be anymore happy with their work.

They were good. They were punctual and did a good job. They didn't do the very best clean up, our attic was full of stuff that chipped of where they worked. We later had someone install a satellite dish and they broke 22 tiles. I called Wetmore and they had them all replaced within an hour. I was very happy about that.

They cleaned up after themselves. They finished the work for exactly what they said they would do it for. We had no complaints from the neighbors. The work was excellent, the roof looks beautiful and carries a 20 year warranty.

They did an excellent job on our roof. Walter, the supervisor, was great to deal with. The workers were great also. They did a wonderful job of cleaning everything up. I do not remember the price but I felt that it was reasonable. I would recommend them to others.

I love the way our new roof looks. We no longer have to look at broken and discolored shingles, which is really nice. During the five days it took them to get the roof on, they cleaned everything up every day. We also have not found any leaks or anything with the roofing that they put on for us.

They workers came when they said they would and removed several layers of old roofing. They did a beautiful job of cleaning up the huge amount of debris this involved. We did compare prices and they were the best for the quality of materials we wanted. We did have one small leak develop after the work was done and they returned immediately to fix it at no extra cost to us. I would definitely use their services again.

It took them a week to get the roof done. It looks good and has no leaks. The materials were of very high quality because that is what we paid for. The men who worked on the roof were nice and did a good job.

Chui(estimator and project mgr) came out to give the estimate within a day. He promptly identified the problem and suggested the best and most cost effective way to fix the leaks. Chui and his team completed the work in one day and promptly cleaned the work area.

DURING THE RAINY SEASON, I CONTACTED AT LEAST 1/2 DOZEN ROOFING COMPANIES TO SCHEDULE REPAIR FOR LEAKING ROOF. MOST EITHER NEVER CALLED BACK OR COULD NOT FIT ME IN FOR MORE THAN A MONTH. DUE TO MY DIRE SITUATION, WETMORE WENT OUT TO INSPECT QUICKLY, PUT UP TARP TO PROTECT THE HOUSE. ACTUAL JOB WAS COMPLETED IN 1 1/2 DAYS. EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP & CLEAN UP. PRICE ENDED UP BEING THE LEAST EXPENSIVE OF ALL THE COMPANIES CONTACTED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
