Also advised I would get a 3$ discount if I pre-paid the order, then was told it was considered a rush job since it was a 3 day turnaround. Eventually got the discount, but regretted prepaying as I would have picked them up and brought to another shoe repair. A second pair that required gluing was quoted at $17, I brought them to Artesia shoe repair in Redondo Beach and was charged $6 for the repair and had them back in 24 hours - no and quot;rushand quot; charge. Artesia Shoe Repair also quoted the shoes repaired by Vogue and the same repair new heels and reglue the sole in 2 places would have been $17.00 !

I always get fabulous customer service when I go to Vogue. The employee asked me when I needed the shoes and I asked for a five day turnaround which was met. When I went to pick up my shoes, I showed him how excessively long the belt was on my fanny pack and asked him if he could cut off several inches and stitch up the end for me like the original was while I waited. He graciously did it and when I asked what the new total was, he said there would be and quot;no charge, and quot; just the original $6.00 for the shoe repair. The employees here are always friendly and professional - a pleasure to do business with them.
Vogue Shoe and Luggage Repair can be hard to find if you aren't familiar with the Del Amo Fashion Center area. It is not in the big mall. It's on the BACK side of the large separate building at 3550 Carson St., around the corner from L. A. Fitness Center which is on Del Amo Circle East. Parking is free and easy because there are several reserved stalls in front of the shop

I just took some other items there because I was so pleased with the results. Just be aware that they explain everything that can go wrong when they take the item and leave it up to you to decide if you are willing to take the chance with whatever you bring them. They don't guarantee perfect results but they also don't charge enough to guarantee the process. So far I've been happy with their work....especially when their prices are so fair.

I enjoy the folks at Vogue. The father runs the business with his sons. I believe there are 6 siblings in the family and at least half of the sons work in the shop. I enjoy speaking to the father and the sons each time I take an item in to be repaired. They are very friendly and will happily chat with me when I have the time to spend time getting to know them. Must make dad proud to know his sons are working the customers, wish my own sons were as friendly. I do find them a bit pricey and am secretly checking out other shops. I find the repairs for my items to be more than I paid for the item. I only take shoes or bags for which I love and have sentimental value into the shop because I know they will do a good job. I also take my children's instrument cases in because the cases are rented and I am hoping the music shop will not realize the cases are in need of repair and charge me double to have repaired. It is a toss-up. The shop is not near my house so I only go when I am on that side of town and they are pricey for my cheap items, however, I know they do an excellent job and I love supporting family businesses - especially those who remember who I am and are extremely friendly.

These people are totally unprofessional. I brought in 2 pairs of shoes for a re-heal on Wednesday 4-11, I was given a ticket and told it would be approximately one week for the work to be done and that I could pickup up my shoes on Wednesday 4-18. On the morning of the 18th, I called at 10am and no one answered the phone. I called an hour later and was put on hold while the clerk searched for my order. I was on hold for more than 5 minutes before he came back and told me that he could not find my order and that in his words "there is a mess in the back" and that he would look for my shoes and call me back. Another hour passed and no phone call, so i decided to call back. This time I was on the phone waiting for 11 minutes! I finally hung up and called them back because they never came back on the phone. When he answered I asked him straight on if he had lost my shoes, he admitted that yes they had! By this time I was admittedly upset. I told him I wanted my shoes and that they better turn up today otherwise he had better compensate me. Again he told me he would call me back. At 138pm he finally called me back and told me he had found them, and that no work had been performed! After a week they had not bothered to do anything! This tells me that they just threw my shoes on some random pile, lost them, then completely forgot about them! Then he actually had the nerve to ask me to come back tommorrow (thursday), because in his words " we are a little behind and need more time" I told him no way, and that I would be there in 15 minutes to pickup my shoes. When I got there he was totally smug, and said to me that "oh ya your the one that doesnt want the work done" totally putting it on me. I said nothing because I knew if if did it would not be good. I grabbed my shoes and started to walk out. The jerk then told me to "have a good day" He never apologized for all the trouble they caused me. Please do not use this these guys ever, they are lazy, smug, unprofessional and make you feel like your a the bad person because you have the never to use their service.

They told me that if I wanted a Samsonite wheel they would have to order it and it would take several weeks and cost $60. They recommended replacing it with a stock wheel for about half the price, which is what we chose to do. It doesn't match the suitcase, but it works every bit as well as the original. Vogue is very busy so expect to have to wait a couple of weeks for repairs, but it's worth it.
