They were very nice, very professional and were able to repair my clock on-the-spot...I did not have to leave it...I wasn't expecting that.  This is my second time using their services. They were able to fix my Green Bay Packers sports bar digital wall clock that I was sure was un-epairable but they fixed it.  Good people!  Will use again and will recommend to family and friends.

He was fabulous and very dedicated. He took my gold wrist watch and repaired and it is now working like a charm. He is very polite, neat and nice. He has repaired a watch for my daughter previously as well. The price was great and the other companies I reached out to gave me quotes up to $1,000 without even coming out to look at it. He has a passion for what he does.

Beautifully . I have a vintage watch and accidentally broke a very thin crystal. i took this watch to both Feldmars and Morgans jewelers and neither could help me . When i took it to John after reading the Angies list reviews, and told him what I was looking for . he had just the crystal I needed. It was exactly like the original that was on the watch. The guy is wonderful and honest and his work is impeccable. Nothing else can be said about a fine watch repairman except he has the nicest english bulldog that gently greets you when you walk into the store. Her name is Magnolia and she is just a love. Folks from around the neighborhood just pop in to say hi to her and John . This is truly a find. Thanks Angie List members !!!

UPDATE: The crystal that this jeweler replaced fell off along with the bezel at church two weeks later and bent the minute arm of my perfect antique watch. when I brought it back to him again and showed it to him , he straightened the arm and put the the crystal and bezel back on , after a few days I noticed that the tip of the minute arm was actually touching the face plate of the watch and beginning to scratch it . I took it back to him again , he fixed it for free but said the scratch could not be removed. The crystal fell off again about a week ago so I took it to another jeweler and he told me that the scratch actually could be removed by a company that specializes in such. The cost is about $100 and the scratch will be removed. He also said the crown is slightly bent now and will need to be replaced . BOTTOMLINE : To make this beautiful watch the way it was before I took it to timemasters …. will run me about $225 !!.

The owner of timesmasters is a nice enough man but not a very competent jeweler in dealing with Antique watches . I would highly recommend not taking ANY watch of value here. Had he just done the right thing and sent it out at his own expense to get it fixed properly , I would not be writing this unflattering review now .

As it stands , I will pay the $225 to undo the damage Timemasters inflicted on this watch . I take no joy at all in writing in fact have hesitated for along time, but if I don't write this , someone else may have the same or similar thing happen to them. It's simply not right to say nothing at all. Sorry Timemasters.

Took my digital clock in for repair...it just stopped working and all places I called said they could not or would not work on digital clocks. TimeMasters said to bring it in...I did and left it there. They called a few days later and said my clock was fixed and was ready for pick-up. I was very pleased that they were able to fix my clcok (it turned out to be a minor repair) and it was done with such a quick turn-around period. Very nice people and competitive prices. I will recommend to others and wil go to them for my future clock/watch repairs.

The two repairmen split up the watches and quickly replaced the batteries while I waited. The watches worked perfectly and the cost was ridiculously cheap. But here's the best part: the owner often brings his sweet bulldog to work with him. If you give Magnolia your money or credit card, she will hold it gently in her mouth, trot around the counter, and give it to the owner. And suddenly, you're living in Mayberry and not North Torrance. It's fabulous.

We inherited an antique curio cabinet that has a clock; the clock could not be wound and was not working. Also, my basic everyday Timex watch had stopped working a few months after having the battery replaced by our regular watch repairman whom we used for small repair jobs, battery replacement, watch bands, etc. We took both items to him and were told 1) The battery for the Timex is still good but the watch was no good and that we might as well toss it. 2) Repair of the antique clock would cost around $90; he would have to order a part for it, which would add to the cost and that we probably shouldn't bother. My husband and I decided to check Angie's List for a referral and second opinion.

We found a listing for Time Masters and More, located in Torrance, CA. Their ratings were excellent and and the business was located close by. The technicians are friendly and professional, and there is their adorable dog, Magnolia, on hand to greet the customers. We were told they could help with the antique clock, which needed some cleaning and the mainspring replaced. As for the Timex, according to their reference guide, the Timex company would replace the malfunctioning watch, which Time Masters arranged.

The items were ready in about a week. The antique clock is in good working order and I have a brand new replacement Timex watch. We couldn't be more pleased.

We want to add the following update: Upon reinstalling the clock to the curio cabinet, my husband discovered that the clock glass had cracked! He was very upset because the cabinet belonged to his late mother and his purpose was to improve and restore as much as possible. He thought the glass could be replaced. I suggested he contact Time Masters and More again for help with this. They suggested he bring the clock back, which my husband did about a week after the original repair was done.

We received a call from and quot;Charlesand quot; a few days later to let us know that they were able to replace the cracked glass for the clock. My husband was relieved and ecstatic! The bonus was that there was no charge for the glass replacement! Time Masters and More is the best!

I brought in the watch to Timemasters and More and they warned me that because it was so old they probably wouldn't be able to get replacement parts. I left the watch with them and they called me and much to my delight, they not only were able to fix it but they only charged me $15 (the problem was that the watch just needed to be cleaned). I was worried that they wouldn't be able to fix it without having to charge me a lot of money but that turned out not to be the case.

Within a week, they called to say the part was replaced and they gave it a "dry run" in the store before calling me. The clock (with the replacement mechanism) sounds and is performing better than I anticipated. The owner and his assistant continue to do a great job!

I needed a new watch band and the watch model is no longer made by Fossil. I called them and they suggested I could send my watch to their repair deptment and see if they could replace the band. They gave no guarantee and said it would take up to six weeks to turnaround. It's an unusual attachment for the band so I started looking locally. TimeMasters was able to say they could replace the band immediately if a similar one was in stock, and it was. I was relieved. And impressed with their professionalism and quality. It took only about ten minutes to have my watch back, fixed like new. I've had many watches in the past, but this one has been my favorite all around and I didn't want to have to get a new watch just because the band needed replacing. I am so grateful. They also have a lovely English Bulldog named Magnolia and welcome customers with their pets.

I went there with several vintage watches. I wanted to make sure that they were in good working condition. I took the watches in, they tested them on a device, and they told me the watches were all in good time. They had told me that it would take $100 to clean and bring the watches up to speed. I was prepared to pay that amount, but I didn't end up having to pay quite that much. That was a very honest thing for them to do; they could have easily taken my $100.
