Strip Joint The Inc

The work was professionally planned in advance and later executed expertly over a 2-week period.
The Strip Joint prepared a written estimate of the work for us together with a detailed construction plan for its implementation. The plan was very useful in alerting us to the timing of various work activities in our kitchen.
We had to delay their start date by one week because of prior work delays. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate our scheduling needs.
Before stripping and sanding wood in our house, they put up a "tent" around the kitchen to confine associated dust and fumes. Several box fans directed kitchen exhaust outdoors away from our other occupied rooms. Inside the "tent" appliances were carefully wrapped and sensitive surfaces were covered over.
The first stain application was not dark enough based upon the sample that we had approved beforehand. When we brought this to the attention of the company's project manager, he told us that the color would be modified to our satisfaction before the job would be completed. In fact, this was accomplished with a second staining application.
The work crew noticed that we had a wooden kitchen accessory. They took it back to the shop with them to refinish it along with the doors and drawers they were working on off-site. They did this at no additional cost to us.
The project manager suggested new hinges for our cabinet doors. We agreed with his judgment. He had our exising knob backplates matched to the the hinge colors as near as possible. The cabinet doors now work better than they ever have before.
The work crew took care to clean up daily and to give us access to our refrigerator every evening. The workmen were knowledgable, courteous, and helpful all the time they were working at our house.
There were several planned repairs to the wooden drawers and doors that were made during refinishing.
Overall, the work was completed on time with individual tasks adhering fairly closely to plan.

They were excellent. The scheduling did take a while but the work was superb. It is a very busy place.

They were repaired in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I love them. Pat and Mike were a joy to work with and gave me great reccomendations for other repairs I need to have done.

Beautiful job! Mike assists his clients in choosing the right stain/finish for the wood. We have another job there right now!

Mike and his crew were friendly and worked fast. We dropped off our doors and were able to pick them up the following weekend. All the paint was removed and they even cleaned up the hardware. This was a great service for us because we had so many layers of thick paint on the doors.

He does a really nice job, you just have to be willing to leave it with him. He has a laid back schedule, but his work is very good.

Location not in an office but don't let that fool you. Good work regardless.

THE EMPLOYEES THAT I DEALT WITH WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE EXTRA CAREFUL AS TO NOT MAKE ADDITIONAL SCRATCHES AND CLEAN UP THE EXISTING. THEY STRIPPED IT DOWN EXACTLY THE WAY WE WANTED IT.
