We hired Stewart-Jackson Sprinklers Inc. to replace the ?manifold? to our aging sprinkler system.  One of the pipes had burst and was flooding a side yard.  Fortunately my husband had heard the ?pow? of the bursting pipe and was able to turn the system off before too much water was lost.  Then we observed that more of the galvanized pipes were also corroded.

After my husband spoke to Kevin Islander a couple of times, we decided to use his company to repair our sprinkler system.  ?Rob? was sent to assess what exactly was needed and a day or two later he provided us a time and costs estimate, which we accepted; on that day, freeway traffic was slow, and he called from his cellphone to say he?d be about 15 minutes late!  That impressed me ? very conscientious of him to call.  Then on the appointed day, Rob and his helper ?Jose? arrived to do the work.  Both of these men were very polite, professional, friendly, hard-working; and it was no problem having them at our home for about 3.5 hours.  They were actually great, and they are an asset to Kevin?s company.  Sometimes having strangers work at one?s house can be a bit uncomfortable, but both of these men were easy to have around.

They cleaned up the surrounding area after their work was done.  Then Rob fully tested our sprinkler system, one station at a time. There have been no leaks or other problems.  And we are happy that we found Stewart-Jackson Sprinklers on Angie?s List!!  We?ll happily recommend them to one and all.

Stewart-Jackson did an excellent job of laying out a new drip irrigation system across multiple planter/raised bed areas.  They integrated it with an existing automatic timer that allows for specific scheduling of watering.  The layout is very effective in that it uses a minimum of water to keep the vegetation irrigated.  The technical staff were very talented and did excellent work.

installation was very good but wiring of the timer was completely wrong and there was collateral damage to other valves in the system, presumably from debris that got into the lines during the install. Wiring was easier to fix myself than call them back, but they did come back for the other valves and said they were not responsible for collateral during the installation.

Stewart Jackson Sprinklers did a good job of identifying the issue with our sprinklers, giving free and reasonable advice even if it went against their interest, and were overall very professional in their work. I would definitely use them again.

It went so well!!!  I can't say enough good things about how the business end and installation was handled.  Their specialist came to the house and saw what needed to be done.  He also warned us of the issues we might encounter as the work progressed.  The entire system had been a home job for the past 45 years so you can imagine what they found.  Yes, even old hose instead of pipe in sections.  The sprinkler heads were also a real mess.  Every one was different.   As anticipated, they did find many areas that didn't meet code and were costing us in water and money.  The did the job on time and even came back to do all of the adjustments.  The time projected for the job was right on.  They completed everything on time and the yard and surrounding areas looked as if they had never been touched.   The company has been around for a long time and not going anywhere.  They are on our "call board' in case we need service in the future.  
Several months later,  we have seen a major reduction in our water bill and for once the job was done professionally.  Our yard looks fantastic and we are paying less for it.

Rob arrived within the time window, started digging to locate leak and found the problem right away.

Also fixed a secondary leak location.

They did a very professional job.  In the front yard, the sprinkler wire that goes to the control box, had to be ran underneath the sidewalk. He did a very nice job doing that. He was very professional and worked fast. He is very thorough and knows what he is doing. I will be calling them again for future service.

Arrived on time.  Checked out the situation and started trying things.  I was hoping the problem was all above-ground so I would not have to dig up 30-yr old plants.  He replaced things that were worn out and told me what he was doning, step-by-step.  Had the problem solved within 30 minutes.  Very professional, very respectful of me and my property.  Called me three day later to see if everything was still okay.  Love the follow-up call!!

He did a great job!  He let me walk through all the sprinklers and explain all my issues, then he fixed all the things I requested. 
The front and back yard looks great, and getting the correct amount of water.
I'm a happy customer.

I've actually used Stewart Jackson twice this year, slow to write this review. Found them on AL and was impressed with the great reviews, and basically that's exactly the kind of service I received.
Herman really is fantastic. I wish every home service/repair provider was like him. Professional, prompt, smart, diligent and fast. He fixed my backyard automatic sprinklers so everything is being watered properly. Dug out broken heads, replaced some with regulators (total skeptic when they were recommended but they are really worth it!), fixed zones that weren't working (solenoid).
That was first visit. Second, he repaired damage done by the City on my property line. My nickel but didn't care, needed to be continue watering that zone.
Give this man a raise! He represents the company incredibly well. Thank you Stewart Jackson!
