It was through a Groupon that I saw and I think they sent things out. It was a matter of mailing things and I never went to the business or spoke with anybody. They did not put as many pictures on the cover as another company I used. They ended up being a little bit more money than another company and I had to mail things back and forth, which I didn't care for. The quality was about the same. I had to pay for shipping. It was $18 per DVD.

I thought their prices were reasonable. I liked everything about it, and they are easy and courteous. You can call them if you have questions. The only thing I don't like about their service is that they don't cut out the extra parts that you don't wont - they don't do that. That part I didn't like, because I don't want to fast forward it when I watch it. These were on those little pity reels that you had the projector for. Their prices were probably the best I could get. It still is an expensive thing.

They are amazing! They keep you very well informed, their workmanship and service is great, as well as their price. I was pretty nervous about the whole thing, since the tapes are so valuable to me, but the experience was exceptional overall.

I was looking for a local company to transfer my VHS tapes to DVDs.  I could not find a local one and when a "Groupon" became available for ScanDigital in California, I bought the coupon that cost $40.00 for $100.00 worth of service.   I originally bought the Groupon on 6/22/11.  I took my six tapes to a UPS store and spent approximately $13 to ship them to ScanDigital.  I received my order on 9/28/11.   This was a full three months for processing.  They said due to the great demand of "Groupon"  orders there would be a delay in the transfers. 

They do email you with updates to let you know when they have started processing your order, etc.   This was helpful.  I was still disappointed at the timeframe it took to fill my order.  I had a very small order, only six tapes.   I emailed them regarding the delay a couple times and they email you back in two days. So far, all the DVDs seem to be in working order.  I am glad to have my childhood family movies now on DVDs that I can watch.  I will make copies of the DVDs for my siblings.  I may not have done it without the Groupon discount.
