Resource Collection

Resource Collection's services to our HOA were so bad that "negligent" is too kind a term. Monthly financial statements were always late and did not balance (i.e. starting assets plus receipts less expenses did not match what was left). Resource Collection staff were unavailable, unresponsive and downright rude. They offered virtually no service or 'resources' to our HOA. When I became a Board member, I discovered that no tax returns or mandatory state filings had occurred for 7 YEARS despite the fact that the HOA's contract with Resource Collection required them to advise the Board of such reporting requirements; Resource Collection NEVER told the Board of these requirements, and in fact, assured the Board things were taken care of. As a result, the HOA scrambled to prepare 7 years of returns (therein discovering financial discrepancies and reports that didn't balance) and ultimately terminated the services of Resource Collection. Resource Collection did not handle the termination professionally. When we went to pick up our "records" for the HOA over a 7+ year period, there was less than 1 box of documents.
