,Purchased the lock from them because they said it was "tamper proof," but our storage unit was robbed, and the lock was still on it. This Public Storage company offered no follow up and police said that "lock didn't look tampered with" because the lock was still on (even though most of the stuff was cleared out, and the rest thrown all over inside the unit). Wall dividers are flimsy but office personnel told us that there was no way that adjacent units could have broken in. Since, have read online accounts of just that scenerio. Hmmm, seems like someone might be selling locks that they have an extra key to, these locks don't seem to be secure (see YouTube video of "easy pick locks on storage units") or they are renting adjacent units to thieves? Not the only unit to be robbed there but thought we could save others from the heartache. No cameras on the inside they said, there was nothing they could do.
