Since we never heard back from them, we were not given an estimate.

They did a great job. It was very expensive.

Renewal by Anderson had by far the highest quality product of the 6 suppliers we considered. They were just too expensive. The windows/doors we got are fine, but they are a lower quality.

We visited this company in February 2017 and discussed our door needs at length; we were told that another company representative would contact us in a few days, but we were never contacted.

We used One Stop 3 years ago to install a door. The product was good but many delays & lack of attention to the project. I never wanted to use them again. My husband called them again to replace doors & windows in our condo. They sent a guy out to measure & said they would give us a quote in a week.  After several months of follow up with them, we never received the estimate!  The only way to get the salesman to call us back was to call the owner. I did this 3 times!  There was always an excuse that they needed to call the manufacturer & get more info. We finally moved on to another company. One Stop obviously does not care about their customers & they do not need business. This was not a small job & we got another estimate for $18,000.  They have a nice showroom but terrible customer service.

The job went extremely smoothly. We were on a tight schedule and they fit us in and got the work done on time, just as we scheduled it. Out of all the work we were having done then, the windows were one thing we didn't have to worry about.
We are also very satisfied with the Milgard windows. They work well and look great. The double panes really cut down on the airport and neighborhood noise.
Andrew was very helpful in our planning. He was able to point out the pluses and minuses of each decision. And so far it's been great. The installers came on time, cleared and swept, and were done in one day, all 12 windows.
One thing: One Stop does not do painting. They installed the windows perfectly, but we had to fill in the nail holes, prime, and paint the window trim ourselves. This actually worked out better, because we could do the entire frame and match the room's paint.
Another thing: Due to the age of our house (built in 1943) we were required to get a lead test. Lead was detected in the bathroom window frame. So we had to pay extra to contain the lead when they removed the old window. This seemed like a big fuss over nothing, but, apparently that's the code now. In any case Andrew helped us get the testing done and was quick to provide new quotes as needed.

Recognize that Hunter Douglas by default shortens your blinds and shutters. They also have significant slop in their measurement accuracy on the order of a quarter inch. This needs to be accounted for or at least thought about prior to sending in your measurements to optimize the product received.

I like my millennium ovation doors, but the pre-hung door was not hung well. While the door was nice, the craftsmanship on the frame was nonexistent. My edited letter to one stop today is below. Took out personal info.
--------------------------
You guys never met my expectations on my window coverings.  I just don't think you really know your business. You're salesmen are fine for people who just want to buy stuff, but they definitely don't understand the how to optimize fitting and how to guide a buyer in the purchase of expensive window coverings.

I bought my doors in the same timeframe as the window coverings. After the lack of attention to detail on my window coverings, I was left hoping I'd experience better with installation of my doors. Not. Same lack of attention to details. It started off bad with your staff not even being able to figure out what had been paid for.  After install, I  had to pull the furring strips off the pre-hung door myself as they were a quarter inch away from the door on one side and none of them were lined up at where they met at the corners-just sloppy. My sliding door looked ok at first, but I noticed it would creak when closing.  Sure enough, the screw holding the track in place on one end was not all the way in. When I tightened it, the door was no longer plum-wonderful. Little things like cutting out space in the trim strips to better accommodate the sliding door guide at the bottom were also not done. Instead, I was left with an eighth inch gap at the bottom that didn't need to be there.

I've already recut new trim strips and chiseled out space for the door guide so the trim sits flat. I want my sliding door adjusted properly though and any refinishing necessary to correct accessing the adjustment screws done by you.  I figure I paid to have my door at least hung properly.

Id like to put my dealings with one stop behind me.  I now understand why you're called one stop-because it's best to not come back.

The installer was far less of a craftsman than I am. He beat and bent the door to get it to fit because he did not install level. I had to call the company and have him cut the security bolts off. I then had to straighten the metal he bent and then drill out the holds and plug them with hardwood dowels. After the glue dried I installed the door making sure it was level. Didn't take me all that long but I had to use standard bolts. Not using the door for security so I don't much care but where is the skill? I paid $200+ for installation that was unacceptable. I should have demanded my money back but I was just glad to get them off my property. This was probably because during all that beating, the installer really messed up my door frame and the stucco around it. It is my front door so I was a little upset about that but I did repair most of the damage. They do carry some good stuff you can't find elsewhere though. I will be going back to buy the raw material from them. I'll just install what I buy myself. I'm not paying the kind of money they ask for a bunch of trained chimps to destroy my house. You could say that this was not what they normally intall or they have better guys but you know what? I"m not taking the chance. I did get what seemed like a fair price on some windows though. However, I would like to say that I did stand around and wait a long time just for 15 minutes of their time. Lots more fun just browsing the store. There is no catagory for workmanship but if there were, I would give them an F.

One Stop was not helpful even though they had a sizeable showroom. I came in on a Saturday morning as requested to beat the usual traffic. I was kept waiting with little confirmation of help. The salesman that did show us around didn't really help us at all. He wouldn't schedule a measure and I just got the feeling he did not care about my project or my future business. So I didn't give it to them.

ONE STOP HAS A HUGE SELECTION OF DOORS (INTERIOR & EXTERIOR) & MOLDINGS AS WELL. THEIR SALES FORCE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, EFFICIENT, & QUITE ORGANIZED. WHEN ONE OF OUR DOOR PANES WAS DISCOVERED TO BE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY, THE COMPANY QUICKLY TOOK CARE OF CONTACTING THE PROPER REPRESENTATIVE WHO FIXED THE DOOR PROMPTLY.

I THOUGHT THEIR PRODUCT WAS FABULOUS. I THOUGHT THEIR INSTALLERS WERE WONDERFUL. THERE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S PROBLEM WITH THE DOOR, AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS TERRIBLE. IT IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. IT WAS A DEFECTIVE DOOR. THEY WERE POLITE. THEY WERE CLEAN. THEY WERE WELL MANNERED. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL AFTERWARDS. THERE WERE MANY, MANY PRODUCTS TO CHOOSE FROM.

THE LENGTH OF TIME TO CUSTOM MADE THE DOORS WAS MUCH LONGER THAN QUOTED. THE INSTALLATION LEFT THE PLACE WHERE YOU STEPPED TO GET IN THE DOORS VERY WEAK WITHOUT SUPPORT. THE COMPANY HAD TO BE CALLED BACK TO PUT IN A CEMENT SUPPORT. IT TOOK MANY, MANY CALLS TO GET THIS DONE.

THE DOORS WERE EXPENSIVE, BUT HIGH QUALITY. THEY WERE NOT PAINTED, SO I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE ADVISED ME ABOUT HOW TO GET THEM PAINTED BEFORE THEY WERE INSTALLED.
