I called Mitigation, Inc. at 8 pm one night after finding water on my
kitchen floor. Wherever I stood in my kitchen, I noticed water coming
up through the grout lines. I spoke with Travis, the president of the
company, on the phone and he had few workers at my house by 9 o'clock
that night.
From the first contact, I was impressed with their professionalism.
The two guys that showed up at my house were very courteous,
professional, and evidently experienced. They didn't waste anytime
setting up the initial mitigation process and managed to answer all my
questions to my satisfaction before leaving in a few hours.
The next day, Travis came over to explain the process of restoring my
home to original condition. I knew I've called the right person for
the job and felt lucky to have his company handle the insurance
matters; I learned that Mitigation, Inc. has over 30 years of
experience in this field of business.
As with any construction, I also had a few issues with the work. But
to my surprise, every time I've mentioned the problems to Travis, it
was taken care of without any noticeable displeasure from him or his
employees. It was a very refreshing experience as I've had unpleasant
experiences with other contractors in the past.
Though I was initially hesitant about recruiting the services of
Mitigation Inc., I have to say that I'm overall pleased with my
experience with Travis and his crew. They were timely, professional,
and courteous, and I could not be more satisfied by the end result.

results are great and above my expectation.

I had heard water running even after shutting off the water to the house, so I called the DWP to see if it was in their system. The DWP came out on Saturday afternoon and they told me that the leak was somewhere between their meter box and the house water shutoff valve, so it was my responsibility to fix it. The DWP tried to identify the location of the leak, but couldn't as they didn't have the proper equipment. So, I called Mitigation on Saturday and they scheduled the leak detection/repair for the following day, Sunday. Travis the scheduler/supervisor, was professional and delivered what he promised-- excellent service and quality work at a reasonable and competitive price. Daniel and Alfredo, the craftsmen, showed up exactly on time and were very courteous and explained to me everything they were going to do to find the leak. They quickly gained my trust as I watched them identify where the leak was using their sonar equipment. Once the leak was found (fortunately it wasn't under the sidewalk or driveway), they showed me the leak. Daniel corresponded with Travis, explaining what it would take to repair the leak and then Travis and I agreed on a price. They said their repair would be guaranteed also for at least one year.

Daniel and Alfredo did have to dig up lots of dirt and mud to get at the leak and they were very careful to keep the dirt on plastic and keep the work area immaculate. Then, they set to work to cut out the appropriate sections of pipe and solder the new connections. I watched a little of this work going on from my window and I could tell they were very focused and diligent. After finishing repairing the leak, they went for a dinner break and came back to make sure everything was good before covering the pipe and refilling the hole. They left the worksite perfectly clean and no one could tell that a major repair had just be done.

I could tell that both Daniel and Alfredo took real pride in their craft and enjoy their job. They have the skills, equipment and attitude that isn't seen as much as we would like these days.

Bottom line, Mitigation saved the day! I will never use any other plumber but them for future jobs. Thank you, Mitigation!

First they detected the broken pipe and repaired it.  Then they tested for water damage and mold.  They sealed off the rooms involved and removed all damaged areas.  They had area tested for asbestos and then had proper crew remove it.  After testing showed no more asbestos or mold they began restoration of the areas. They handled correspondence with the insurance company for their work.
They are very knowledgeable about handling these problems and are very professional tradesmen.
I am very happy with everything that they did for us.

Mitigation Inc. promptly responded when I reported evidence of water damage under the kitchen sink.   
They immediately detected the related broken line as well as additional broken lines under the crawl space.  They also detected a large cavity leading to the crawl space.
They promptly replaced all broken drainage lines.
I advised them that I also had an ongoing problem with leaks in my copper lines.   Hence, they repiped the entire house... and at a fair price.   This involved knocking out walls and ceilings, and later repairing/repainting them.  Also, they installed new fixtures in all the bathrooms and other areas.
Then they plugged the aforementioned cavity leading to the crawl space.
They worked diligently to get the kitchen work covered by insurance.  After that effort proved to be unsuccessful, they gave me a fair uncovered price for the work.
 
Due to my successful experience with Mitigation Inc, I highly recommend them for a variety of your home needs.

The project went well.  Mail box columns in our city require a permit and must be built to mandatory specifications.  The
 necessary skills include reinforced foundation, masonry, concrete forms and pours and lath & plaster.  Mitigation direct employees were able to expertly handle all of the skills.

Once Mitigation Inc. was on the job, I had confidence in their ability to do the job right.  Do call Mitigation Inc. first, don't call anybody else to do the job.
