+ -1 moreTheir postcard sent thru the US mail says "no points, no fees, & no closing costs." This is a total lie. They charge you points, lender fees, broker fees -- approx $4-7,000 for your first mortgage (original or re-fi). Then they supposedly promise you that you will never pay any of these fees ever again if you obtain an original mortgage or re-fi from them in the future. And they want you to sign paperwork then and there. No estimates provided for the appraisal required for a re-fi. Totally outrageous cost for a title search ($950) when I've been in the house for 9 years and had a title search for orig purchase and first re-fi several years ago. What a rip-off.
Description of Work: Had rep out to quote for a mortgate re-fi. Total "bait and switch" program here.
