The whole process was an excellent experience. I was concerned that there were no recent reviews on Angie's list, but that was not an issue and no one should be bothered by that. Dealing with the sales person (Karen) went extremely well. She was expert at explaining the product and details of the installation. There was no pressure at all to commit to a contract with the company. The installation crew (Jose and Lupe) were just fantastic. They patiently answered all of our questions and explained what they were going to do. The installation was flawless with no problems or unexpected events. They removed existing hardware, and replaced it after installation. Insulation was added around each window. They repaired a damaged section of a window sill. The frame on the outside of the house had to be modified to accommodate the woodwork on our house - that was done flawlessly. They removed and replaced a transition on our wood floor between the floor and the patio door. There was no damage whatsoever to the house, internal or external. They cleaned up inside and out. They cleaned all the windows inside and out. Karen showed up during the installation to see if we had any questions or concerns; this was reassuring. The Anlin vinyl product construction is more robust than most of the competition.

Average process. I wasn't satisfied with soundproof aspects of glass doors; chalked that up to poor communication with salesperson and my lack of knowledge about the features I needed in patio doors to deter street noise. Current issue I feel I need to let others know about is their lack of post-sales service: I now need new screens for those doors, and a few months ago I called the office and inquired about getting measurements and replacement costs for new screen doors. I had not heard from them, so I called again early this week; still have not heard from them. "Maryanne" very sweetly said, "I'll call you back in a couple of minutes..." If they didn't have the records, at least they could have called me back and said so and/or asked if I want them to come measure for new screens, etc. [Only called them again so I could get a patio screen door that would fit the current track.....]

Wonderful service.  A couple of years ago we had our patio sliding door replaced by James Price with an Anlin brand door.
It was such a good experience that we decided to go with them again for the windows.  They are very professional.  We
called, made an appoint for the windows measurements.  They came, they measured, they ordered and 2 weeks later
installed.  The installers removed old windows installed new ones sealed and cleaned up in 2 hours.  We just love these
Anlin windows and the workmanship of James Price Windows & Doors, Inc.

The service actually went pretty well.  I have to call them out to replace a window but that has nothing to do with what they did.  They were good.  The store lady that came out and wrote up the contract was good and the workers were excellent.  They were in and polite.  They were clean and also cleaned up after.  They were fairly fast for 2 little windows.  It was pretty good.  They were a little over $7000.  They were the best in terms of price compared to all the other ones that I checked out.

Arrived on time for the estimate.  Returned all phone calls and answered all our questions.  Windows were installed in half a day.  We're very pleased with the work that was done and with our new windows.

The process was fairly simple with Karen taking the initial measurements and then scheduling their crew for more accurate dimensions. After that we waited two weeks for the windows to arrive and scheduled a day for the install. It only took one (1) day for their crew to install all the windows and they came and went within 7 hours.
The following day I received a call from their office to remind me that I had in fact not sign any contract. The reason for that was because I can call them anytime to fix or replace any of our windows ? we have a full lifetime warranty.
This IS service, highlyrecommended.

I would not recommend anyone use this company. I had to go to court to get my deposit back from them. The windows that the sales person told me would work in my house wouldn't work. I have security shutters and their windows would not allow them to work. They refused to give me my deposit back even thought I requested it within three days of righting the check. I was the awarded back the full deposit, court cost, and the sheriffs cost as well.

They had to be aluminum. I had hired them based on prior installations in my condo building. My main complaint about them, besides their lack of responsiveness, is the installation of my main door. It does not close securely enough to keep the noise out. They haven't finalized anything regarding my complaint. They did verbally acknowledge this but they have no follow through with what they say they will do, their guarantee means nothing. I sent them a letter in December asking for something in writing verifying that these doors were the same as my neighbors and also asking them to acknowledge they were to fix my doors. I received a call after Christmas saying that the supplier would follow up on this and the supplier would be the one answering the letter. As of now, I have received nothing from either of them. They intertwine the reliability of their product with the information that they will take care of you no matter what, when really it is the supplier who will take care of you.

One of the windows did not close properly. They jury rigged the lock to make it lock. The outside moulding work was sloppy. They had to re-do several windows. The worst thing was when they made the kitchen window opening larger, they cut a supporting beam and did not reinforce it. They left it hanging. The only way we found out was that my wife was not happy with the grill work in the first window and wanted to replace it. When they took the window out, we could see that they did not support the beam. I advised them of this and they fixed it. I liked the windows, but the installation left a lot to be desired.

Sales presentation was very good. Installation very bad. Draperies were soiled and improperly rehung. One living room window leaked so much that water restoration/damage company had to be called in with fans. Window had to be re-installed with resulting damage to exterior stucco. I am still waiting for the re-painting of the patched stucco. Baseboards were damaged. New windows not left clean, had to scrap off caulking that was smeared on the windows. Small dent in window frame. Trim to match other window in livng room mistakenly installed on outside and had to be removed with resulting residual caulking marring the exterior appearance of the stucco. I could go on and on.

THE SALESPEOPLE SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE CREW THAT REPLACED WINDOWS DID AN OK JOB. THE CAULKING WAS SLOPPY AND HAD TO BE REDONE. THE VINYL WRAPPING DID NOT MEET OUR EXPECTATIONS IN THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.
