Home Depot

I was stuck in traffic and he waited for me to arrive. He answered all my questions, if I needed anything I can text him and he would text me back or I can email him. I would use them for that service.

I purchased a Tuff Shed through Home Depot. I did my research and spoke to a Tuff Shed order representative via Home Depot and received quotes by e-mail. Never did the representative mention plans and permits. I then went to my local Home Depot (Simi Valley) and purchased a shed. I paid $1000.00 cash and the rest on credit. The Home Depot representative advised that I would be contacted by the Tuff Shed builder by the next day, that didn’t happen. I contacted him the following week. Mike advised me that my city required plans and permits for the size of shed I purchased. I verified with my city that this was true. They advised me yes, and the cost for permits was $300.00. Mike from Tuff Shed advised me that I had to buy plans from him costing between $700.00 - $1200.00. I was shocked! A company that has been in business for almost 30 years didn’t already have plans for their everyday products? Mike went on to explain that the architechts had to be paid. Again, in business for 30 years and this hasn’t been worked out…? Mike kept deferring to his boss. When I asked for a firm price, he said he would speak to his boss. Mike came back with the price for the permits of $700.00, oh my what a relief. I thought it was going to be $1200.00 (SARCASM). If he would have quoted $200.00, I would have gone ahead and completed the plans and permits for the extra $500.00. Mike advised me that I could get a full refund. I went to Home Depot the following day and requested a refund. Home Depot advised me that they couldn’t give me my cash, they had to mail me a check that would take twenty-one days. Laughable, a multi million dollar company doesn’t have $1,000.00 in cash in a store. Also, you don’t have the right to make money on the interest of my money. I notified corporate and they assisted me in resolving that issue. All this is being said is beware of Tuff Shed. Not the best in business practices.

Good experience overall

They contract out the work and I felt like going through Home Depot it was like an extra sort of security on the company so if something went wrong, I have to come back to Home Depot that is the main reason. I didn't have any complaints at all, they are all very good, its fine, I had a second quote and they're about of the same price, the quality is very good, excellent, no problem.

They were very courteous. It wasn’t a door that was imported from China or something. I think it was made in Gardena or Compton or Torrance. It’s a good door and it works fine. I like the price too. They were prompt in getting the installation done. They did a good job and made sure that it was all properly aligned. They had to push the door slightly so that it would close easily. I think it would be the same no matter what door you get.

INSTALLERS WERE LATE ON THE JOB. THE WRONG THRESHOLDS WERE DELIVERED FOR EACH DOOR. LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM FROM INSTALLERS. REQUIRED TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE A ONE DAY JOB. I WAS DISAPPOINTED.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. THEY WERE HELPFUL AND PROMPT UPON ARRIVAL, AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. WE HAD A SPECIFIC DEADLINE AND SOME PROBLEMS WORKING AROUND OUR SCHEDULE, BUT THEY HANDLED IT AND WORKED AROUND US VERY WELL WITH BOTH ORDERING AND PUTTING IN THE CARPET.

IT WAS AVERAGE IN SERVICE, AND THEY DID AN ALRIGHT JOB. THEIR TIMING WAS A LITTLE OFF. THE LINES IN THE TILES WERE SOMETIMES NOT AS STRAIGHT AS THEY SHOULD BE.

IT WAS POSITIVE. AFTER THEY LEFT, I HAD TO FIX SOME OF THE TRANSITIONS. UPSTAIRS THE CARPET TRANSITIONS TO TILE, AND THEY JUST FORCED THE SCREWS IN SO THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE FASTENED, BUT THEY WEREN'T.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT, AND IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I DIDN'T REALLY SEE WHAT THEY DID, BUT I AM HAPPY WITH THE NEW GARAGE DOOR WE GOT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE.

THE QUALITY WAS GOOD. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE. WE DIDN'T GET THE RUN AROUND. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME, GOT THE JOB DONE, AND LEFT.

THEY SEEM TO BE GOOD SO FAR. THEY HAVEN'T PUT ANYTHING IN YET. THEY ARE IN THE RIPPING OUT PROCESS. THEY HAVE NOT MISSED A TIME WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. THEY HAVEN'T MISSED A TIME WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SHOW UP.

WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED FROM HOME DEPOT. THEY WERE ABLE TO HELP ME WITH CHOOSING WHAT WOULD BE BEST TO REMOVE THE UNWANTED WALL PAPER. I WAS ALSO HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY WERE SO POLITE AND I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY TREATED ME I WAS VERY PLEASED ON HOW I WAS TREATED WHILE I WAS SHOPPING AT HOME DEPOT. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND THEY WERE ABLE TO ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONED THAT I HAD ABOUT HOW TO GO ABOUT FERTILIZING MY LAWN.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED FROM HOME DEPOT. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WHERE VERY POLITE AND THEY ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS THAT I HAD ABOUT HOW TO KEEP THE PLANTS ALIVE.

THEY WERE VERY NICE AND WHEN I ASKED THEM A QUESTION, THEY RIGHT AWAY KNEW THE ANSWER. THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN ASSISTING ME THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT OF ME FIXING THE GARAGE.

I LIKED THE WAY HOME DEPOT ATTENDED ME DURING THE TRIP. THEY WERE VERY POLITE TO ME AND ATTENTIVE. THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS I HAD REGARDING DRYWALL. I WAS REALLY PLEASED WITH THE GREAT SERVICE PROVIDED BY HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEES. I LIKED THEIR POLITENESS AND THEIR ATTITUDE. I WOULD LIKE TO USE THEM AGAIN.

I LIKED THE WAY THEY HAD THE THINGS ARRANGED. THEY ARE VERY ORGANIZED YOU COULD FIND ALMOST ANYTHING BY YOURSELF. THEY HAVE A GREAT SERVICE AT HOME DEPOT.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED FROM THE HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEES. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT THE FOUNTAIN HOW IT FUNCTIONED. I WAS VERY GLAD THAT THEY HAD AN EMPLOYEE HELP ME CARRY IT TO MY TRUCK.
