Expert and highly experienced contractor. Excellent workmanship, committed to time completion. They performed extremely complex remodeling. They opened the trench without cutting rebars and cables. All inspections passed at once. Very impressive performance .

Fred and his staff/crew started off as contractors and ended up becoming family. They were punctual, committed and worked diligently, purposefully and safely during covid all while respecting our family dynamic and space with kids, schooling at home, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience with such an important, long-awaited and much overdue project. We are grateful for making the choice we did, and have since brought Fred and his crew back to create a hutch/wine station, install new exterior dutch door and create functional laundry room. They exceed our expectations and we are fortunate to be under the Deco Construction umbrella for the rest of our needs!

Fred at Deco Construction did an amazing job for my parents. Their house was falling apart and they needed someone to help make improvements very badly. Fred and his crew did an amazing job with the balcony, master bathroom, guest bathroom and basement tiles. They transformed these rooms into something fantastic! They pay attention to detail and the outcome is amazing. Fred is also a great listener and can figure out what the clients wants and bring it together to make it look beautiful. Also, everything was done very timely even with COVID restrictions. Will definitely recommend!!!

This is the second time I have hired Fred for a job, and both have gone better than expected. Fred is the type of GC who always does the job correctly, no questions asked. I was glad to have him in charge of the project as my schedule can get busy and I was there less than I would have liked. He is happy to provide input or to do the job to individual specifications. He is also a good human being, which I appreciate when it comes to construction work that almost inevitably leads to hiccups.

This is the third time I've hired Fred and Deco Construction. Fred is very easy to work with and frequently offers helpful suggestions for improvements. Deco updated my very dated 80's townhome. They practically touched every surface including a new kitchen, new floors, plaster and pain, all new doors, lighting, vanities. I could go on and on. This is my 5th project with Deco Construction. Project went very smoothly and timely. Everyone in the company takes pride of the work they perform. Every project was delivered and completed timely and responsibly with a lot of care and helpful suggestions. I will post pictures soon

Fred and Ali met with us at the house and we discussed the project. We did not have a clear plan as to what we wanted to do but both father and son had some great advice and suggestions. By the end of our first meeting, we had a pretty clear plan and knew we could trust Deco with our project. The work began promptly, Fred or Ali were constantly visiting the job site, following up with our many requests and changes, and making sure we were kept up to date. As the work progressed we were more and more excited about our new home. The owners are knowlagable, the workers are courteous and skilled. Over all the experience was great and we would deffinetly use and recommend Deco.

Everything went really well. Very pleased with the end product, and also pleased that everything was ready for us to move in when we planned to move in.

We had some heavy rain dump on us during the roofing phase which caused damage inside the house. Fred calmed me down and assured me everything would be dealt with and he was right. He removed all damaged drywall and flooring then dried out the property completely, had the house mold treated/tested before reinstalling all new material. Totally took responsibility for the mishap and made our house new again. My wife and I recommend Deco to anyone who asks and would use him and his crews if we do another project. He has done work to two properties thus far. We trust him.

I have to say this is the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. Fred is a pleasure to work with...professional, knowledgeable, and a very nice guy. His workers showed up on time, cleaned up and did a fantastic job. One of the reasons we chose Deco was because Fred has his own showroom so it was a one stop shop...didn't have to go all over town selecting the items we needed. His items were top quality and exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We have recommended Deco to our friends and intend to use them for all our future home projects.

Their price estimate was very competitive, and Fred showed up right on time. Within a couple of weeks his staff showed up and installed the floors in about three days. They were very clean and professional. Juan was very responsive to all of our concern and finished the job on schedule. I would highly recommend Fred and his team.

Fred from Deco Construction was very easy to work with from the initial estimate through the completion of the job. He remodeled my kitchen and a bathroom in my rental house. His crew was very efficient and were there every day and finished ahead of schedule. Fred made helpful suggestions on how to improve not only the rooms he was working on but other parts of my rental where I was doing the work myself. I was given updates on the work almost daily. I would definitely recommend Deco Construction to anyone looking for a contractor and I would use them again in the future.

We used Fred and his team to demolish our entire home, rebuild it and add substantial square footage. Fred is a great communicator and understood our wants and needs. We were able to source cabinets, tile and counter tops from his office showroom. We found many online products and he was able to source them locally and at a more reasonable cost. Fred was great to work with and is a great problem solver. He always has the clients best interest in mind. We would highly recommend Deco Construction.

After some serious water damage, we were forced to tare a good section of our house down and repair it. So we decided to add to the square footage, and move some walls as well. We contacted several contractors and after a few weeks of discussing the project with multiple contractors, we decided to go with Deco Construction. Speaking to Fred and Ali, we felt confident that they knew what they were doing and would be the best option. Fred told us that they can help us with every stage of the process including plans, so we discussed the project and got started. Deco helped us decide how to proceed, prepared plans, submitted plans to the city, got us our approval and started the job in a timely manner. There were no delays, no crazy surprise costs and the project progressed on schedule. Fred was there to answer all our questions and Ali kept us updated with all the deadlines, and change-orders. Overall we were very happy with the process and would definitely use Deco Construction for our next project.

My condo was tenant occupied for over 10 years. When it came time to sell it I did a walk through and realized that I needed to fix, repair, and update a lot. I hired Fred and Deco to gut the place and remodel the bathrooms and the kitchen, install wood flooring, paint and clean the unit, replace the doors, and make the place livable once again. From the estimate to the final walk through everything went without a hitch. The place looked great and I was very pleased with the final results. I really liked the fact that they have a private showroom that has everything from tile and cabinets, to counter-tops and wood flooring. The final cost was very close to the estimate (I added a few things) and there were no surprises along the way. I would definitely hire and recommend Deco Construction and Fred.

Fred and his team did a great job remodeling our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. They did it in the time frame given. His team was very professional and clean up well. Fred gave helpful suggestions and ideas but wasn't pushy about it. I also liked that he has a showroom to pick out materials. We love our kitchen and bathroom. I would use him again and have already recommended him to a couple of people. Some things to keep in mind: You do need to call Fred to get updates as he doesn't always call to let you know what is going on that day or week. He's busy so it's understandable. At the end of the remodel, Fred told us to use the kitchen for a few weeks and we will find little things that need touch up and fixing. He said to put a list together and then they will come back and fix. I really appreciated this. He eventually did come through but it took a few calls before getting them out.

It went pretty well. I think they're fair and they did good work. At first, he said that he couldn't match the red oak flooring, but I was able to find it on the internet.

We live on the East Coast, and managed both major remodeling jobs remotely, with occasional visits for progress updates. Fred and his team did excellent work on both jobs. In certain cases, Fred and his team used their initiative to resolve challenges, including helping to correct delivery errors from appliance suppliers that we had chosen. The entire townhouse required remodeling, including total kitchen makeover, significant repairs throughout, fixing mold, etc. Deco Construction's own showroom was an excellent tool for us in choosing materials and cabinetry, and Fred was flexible in accommodating our changes. We could not have done this from several thousand miles away without the proactive, professional work of Fred.

Fred was wonderful to work with. Our house was a major fixer when we bought it, and pretty much everything needed to be re-done. Nothing had really been updated since the 60's. The transformation from when we bought our home and how it looks now is truly amazing. Fred does quality work, pays great attention to detail, and is truly a pleasure to work with. It was a long project, and we were glad to have a contractor we could trust. His good rating on Angie's List is well warranted- thank you Fred!

Fred and his crew were not only professional but also genuinely nice to work with. Fidel was always willing to change small details without hesitation (which I had a propensity to do), Juan , the carpenter was also very receptive as was the electrician , Danny. Fred, not only showed up almost everyday, he was very responsive to our calls when we had a question. He was very knowledgable and had a great eye for detail. My husband and I would highly recommend Deco construction to anyone looking for a job well done!

Contacted the provider twice via email to arrange a date/time for a visit to see the job and quote. Got one email, late, in response, nothing more. Never got a visit or a quote.

My immediate concern was to check the gas connections of gas appliances, but access was blocked by debris. The accident occurred on a holiday morning, and Fred of Deco Construction was the only contractor to respond to my calls. He came to the house within an hour. He pulled away debris to gain access to the appliances and assured me there was no danger. He assessed the situation, stated his cost for the reconstruction, to which I agreed, and sent his man to begin work the next day. The job was completed in three days by Gonsalvo, a meticulous craftsman. Fred returned on the third day to inspect the results. I am very pleased.
