They came out right away. The water heater is good. They did quite a bit of work but they were very expensive in the end.  They were very nice. I wouldn't tell friends anything if they asked me, I would say, look around. It is too expensive in the long run. They were very prompt. I had to call them back a few times. They are naturally responsive because they've got a customer.

We chose Greg at CSC because they specialize in sewer/drain work, with all the requisite masonry and plumbing expertise. We needed a drain installed from a front concrete walkway that always backs up with water during rains. This drain would go under our front yard, through a concrete retaining wall to the street. Greg gave us an estimate on line with other Angie's list plumbers. He performed the work the next day after I requested it, and completed the job efficiently and quickly. I was especially happy with how my heavily planted yard looked afterwards, as well as the drain outlet which looked like it's always been there. I would highly recommend CSC to anyone needing drain work done.

Greg was professional from start to finish, starting with showing up on time for the quote all the way through to completing the job in the time estimated. I got 3 bids, not only was Greg the cheapest, he was the only guy who took the time to bid out all possible contingencies. Initially, I had thought the 4" trench-less would fix the problem. Greg bid that part of the job, but then, just to be thorough, he also gave me the bid for work if he had to replace the sewer line from the property line to the edge of the street, then a third price from edge of street to LA city service in middle of street. He even stopped traffic to pull up the manhole cover to check the depth of the city service so he could bid that part of the contract more accurately. Ultimately, I probably could have gotten away with $4k less, because replacing the 4" wasn't necessary, all I needed was the sidewalk and street work, but that hadn't occurred to me until Greg's crew was finished.

I contacted three companies for an estimate. CSC responded quickly and its representatives were friendly and efficient. They provided a lower estimate than the other two companies, were able to schedule the work within less than a week (very important when you have sewer line problems) and did the work quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.
