+ -1 moreChris and Sam at Cal Fed made refinancing easy. First Chris took all my info over the phone to prequalify me. He told me all the paperwork I needed to get started. This was just before Thanksgiving and the holidays sidelined me. I didn't get around to seeing them with the paperwork until Jan 10. Once my husband and I applied, it was smooth sailing and we closed on our new loan on February 23. Most everything was done by fax after our initial meeting. They explained the mountain of paperwork and scheduled the appraisal, title search and other docs in a timely manner. To make a long story short, our interest rate went from 4.85 to 3.0%, and our monthly payment went down too by almost $500. Good Stuff. I would highly recommend Chris and Sam at Cal Fed Mortgage, they're good at what they do and nice guys too!
