Description of Work: The lid hinge on my 11-year-old Miele vacuum cleaner had broken. This guy told me that parts were no longer available, but he had a derelict one in his shop. He sold me a replacement Hepa filter, which I needed, and replaced my broken lid with his solid one for free. Good service, good guy.

 + -1 moreWe had a 10 year old central vacuum system which was not working. I called Carl on a Thursday afternoon. He came out the very same evening and gave us an estimate for repair ($600) vs installing a new upgraded unit ($900). We opted for a new unit. Due to the holiday season, it took about two weeks for the unit to be delivered to him, a week longer than he thought it would take. I did not feel that this was his fault. We scheduled an appointment for installation. His schedule is very flexible, as early as 7 am and as late as 6:30 pm, including Saturdays. He missed the first installation appointment, making a mistake when recording the appointment in his schedule, but was very apologetic and pretty much rescheduled at my complete convenience. He had to make two trips to complete the installation as a bracket was missing from the manufacturer's box. He is very prompt, personable, explains things clearly, and does not leave any debris. We are very pleased with our new unit.
Description of Work: Installed a new central vacuum power unit.

 + -1 moreI ALWAYS TAKE MY VACUUMS TO THIS SHOP. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL VACUUMS AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE WHAT IS NEEDED. THE PEOPLE ARE VERY DOWN TO EARTH AND VERY FRIENDLY. THE LOCATION IS EASY TO GET TO. I TELL MY FRIENDS TO TAKE THEIR VACUUMS THERE OR TO GET THEIR PARTS THERE. THEIR PRICES ARE REASONABLE AND THEIR SERVICE IS QUICK.
Description of Work: THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL IN PROVIDING THE SERVICE MY VACUUM NEEDS. THEY QUICKLY IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM AND HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX THEM. I HAVE GONE IN TO GET A PART FOR A VACUUM THAT THEY DO NOT NORMALLY SERVICE AND THEY HAD THE PART FOR IT. I SOMETIMES GO FOR PARTS AND THEY HAVE WHAT I NEED.

 + -1 moreI DON'T LIKE THE COST OF IT, AND I AM STUCK WITH THE COST OF IT. I PREFER CHEAPER SERVICES, BUT I CANT GET THEM. WHEN YOU SPEND $500 FOR A MOTOR FOR A VACUUM YOU PREFER IT CHEAPER.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE GREAT! THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT. MY HOOVER IS NOW BACK IN COMMISSION. NOW I CAN PICK UP THOSE NASTY ITEMS AND PET HAIR ONCE AGAIN.
Description of Work: I TOOK MY VACUUM IN TO ORECK. IT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED SINCE IT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN I TURNED ON THE POWER IT WOULD COME ON BUT NOT PICK UP ANYTHING.
