Alan's Plumbing

Unethical and unprofessional. Hired Alan (of Alan's Plumbing) to replace a section of the pipe in the crawl space underneath my guest bathroom. His written invoice specifically and clearly states replacement was the job. He collected payment in cash upfront. Told me he could not make the repair at that moment but that he would return later. On hindsight, seems like a completely premeditated effort to get away with his deceptive plan. I wasn't home when he came back for the job. Had a strange feeling so I went to inspect the "repair" after I got home. To my shock and disgust, Alan had only SPRAY PAINTED the section of the pipe INSTEAD of replacing it!! After numerous calls (most of which he avoided; we called from different number and he answered immediately!), he agreed to reimburse me. After waiting for months, contacted him again about 2 months ago and told him I would be willing to settle the matter for a lesser amount than what he actually owes me. No response and no reimbursement as of this post. Who knows how many other people he scammed? Do NOT hire or trust Alan.
