AK Garage Door Doctor

While attempting to DIY repair my broken garage spring I realized that my 16+ foot torsion tube was destroyed by over tightening from the previous installer. Unfortunately I had to stop in the middle of my project. The next morning, I immediately called top vendors found here on Angie's List. The vendors I called did not sell parts; however, they were able to give me the contact info for others that may help. Anyways, after being pointed in the right direction a couple times I reached Alex with AK Garage Door Doctor. Alex was terrific, I told Alex about my project and need for a new torsion tube. Alex indicated that he could drop off the torsion tube on his way home that same day (I live near his route home)! I was super excited, but the only problem was I couldn't be home in time to verify/inspect the torsion tube being delivered. Alex said no problem and volunteered to leave the torsion tube with an invoice which I paid by mail. When I got home way later that night the torsion tube was perfect. I safely installed everything and I have a working garage again! I cannot attest to the services they provide but I do know they offer all types of garage door related services. Oddly enough, when I came on Angie's List to leave a review I was surprised to find that they weren't listed. P.S. - Since I'm not a professional, Alex inquired about my safety and asked several times if I really knew what I was doing. I reassured him that I am more than capable and also fully aware of the inherent dangers involved with installing garage springs.
