The exterior had been patched and painted numerous times over the years and was in need of new stucco. Aand D provided guidance in color selection and suggestions for updating exterior features on the house. The process took longer than we expected due to the fact that it had to be brown coated and cured for three to four weeks. Sandblasting is always messy, but the company that they subcontracted to do the job, cleaned our neighbors driveways and washed off the car that was covered with sand.

The office staff was very good at notifying us with regular updates as to when what was going to occur. The finished product looks very good. This was the second time we have used the company and will use them again in the future.

Alex and Angie very patiently answered my many questions about the stucco process and never complained when I asked them to provide multiple quotes for different combinations of colors, textures, wrap materials, and finishing processes.

From the beginning, Aand D were very clear about the finality of color selection. After viewing many color and texture samples and selecting a first set of colors, I (surprise) completely changed my mind! Fortunately, they were able to accommodate my change request since the colors had not been ordered yet.

Through it all, Aand D were extremely patient with me. I'm sure that wasn't easy given my angst in color and texture selection.

In the end, the final colors and smooth stucco look fantastic.

After almost one and a half year, the stucco colors still look great and I still receive compliments. The only drawback is that the smooth stucco texture (as warned) did develop some fine settling cracks even with use of the Fry-type aluminum metal. Not sure if the quick drying agent would have helped since my house sits on sand and the 3rd floor addition added a lot of weight causing the house to settle.

We were at a loss for how to correct all the tiny cracks in our lathe and plaster bathroom walls so I called A and D Plastering. The owner Alex came right over and gave us great peace of mind that he could correct our problem with very little trouble. Several weeks later, we had them out and the work was done flawlessly. The walls were like new! Their attention to detail and skill really helped to pull our bathroom together. Thank you!
