We were remodeling a couple had a single sink bath that we wanted converted into a dual sink bath. We wanted it to look as if this was as original so Scott performed all the conversion work in wall. The conversion of the drain system was a little more involved than he originally estimated for but performed all the work for the original estimated price.
When our cabinets were installed, the distance from the back wall of the cabinet and the plumbing stub out was further than anticipated and with only minutes to spare before the install was to happen, Scott came and extended them so we could maintain minimal openings in the cabinet walls for the plumbing.
Post cabinet installs, he returned and installed the new faucets and connected the sinks to the drains.
Telephone communication may not be his strongest suit, but he's very reliable, and delivers quality work at a fair price.

I noticed a large amount of water on our garage floor and heard a "hissing" sound coming from one of the lines near the water heater. I called Ray James plumbing and he told me he would be at my home within an hour. He was right on time. He replaced the flex hose in a matter of minutes, suggested we a ti put a timer on our hot water pump in the future to save money, and was gone. He was pleasant and quite fair.

Steve Ray replaced our hot water tank after it started leaking. He recommended a new Noritz tankless system, and it works perfectly! Great work, honest and nice to have around. He worked around our schedules and has finished the job beautifully. Guarantees his work as well as the manufacturer guarantee with the unit. Highly recommended! Not your typical plumber!!!

I just wanted to put in a good word for him. He is a little hard to get and he won't come within the hour, but will within the day. He does a fine job and is very honest. Just keep calling him and leaving him a message.

He is really good. He inspected it and told us what had happened. He said that there wasn't much that he could do other than what he had just done. He helped but didn't charge us. He told us what to do and we went and got a pump. He was knowledgeable and very upfront. He came out in the middle of a storm to help us out.

Owner Steve James was great and I have already asked him to come back for another job. I highly recommend him. We needed an overflow drain replaced on our tub as it was leaking into the bathroom of our downstairs neighbor's condo. Ray James and Sons was the third plumber we hired for this job. The first one left us waiting for him for several hours on a Saturday until I finally asked him not to come. Another plumbing service came by and quoted the work at nearly double the amount Steve charged. Steve gave me a quote over the phone and was very understanding when I had to delay the job for weeks because my neighbor's sister became ill. When Steve arrived to do the job it was clear that the job was bigger than he quoted do to a number of unforeseeable factors. Steve finished the job and only charged me an extra half hour over the the original quote even though he worked an extra hour and a half. He was on time, friendly, and professional.
