Professional from start to finish. We began working through them (Della) in May. They agreed to extend the warranty on the old machine while they were trying to fix it. Their service rep gave the machine a quick look on a Thursday and ordered replacement parts. Told us they would be delivered to our house and he would be back the following Tuesday to install the parts. The parts didn't show up, scheduling folk checked and discovered that the parts were on back order. They would be delivered in approximately 3 weeks.
We called Consumer Relations to talk about their earlier offer of giving us a discount on a new machine. Della talked with my wife about the model we liked and together they worked out a good deal for us to get the old washer and dryer replaced with new, fancy models.
Today they delivered and installed the new machines and took the old ones out.
Seems like the way customer service should be.

They charged me a $99 service charge even though the unit was just unplugged. All they had to do was plug it back in. He could of said, hey look it's unplugged, why don't you plug it in. Then he wouldn't have had to touch it and charge me $99. The service men are good and know what they are doing but GE is a rip-off company.

Everything went well. They arrived on time and repaired the dishwasher quickly.
