It all went great. I was so happy with her. She did great.

It went okay.  She was good but I don't think we were on the same page with the design plan yet she tried really hard.  She was very nice.

I bought the $79 deal, because I am remodelling my house. Jenny came out and gave me great advice on paint colors for my kids' rooms, the hallway and a bathroom. I also used her to sound off some other ideas. I never really considered myself the type to use an interior decorator (as anyone can see from my house), but this went so well. It was a very comfortable exchange, and I feel much more confident going on with my plans for my house. I plan to use her when it is time to tackle the kitchen/dining room/livingroom.

The deal turned out great. I am going to contact her for additional services. She had great ideas that she came up with on her own. She did not push her services and was very professional in the way she presented everything. Scheduling was not an issue.

The appointment went well, but not without a rocky start.  The purpose of the appointment for the designer was an up-sale.  I understand that, but it was a difficult meeting for both of us.  We came to an understanding.  Lovely lady.

Like art, decorating styles are very personal.  If a decorator's style and your style do not jive, then best to move on to another decorator.  No criticism of the company, just didn't 'click'.

it was a great experience, I learned things I was not aware of and she gave me advise on future purchases regarding furniture and accessories.

I purchased the interior design consultation deal on Angie's list and it was an excellent purchase. Jenny me gave some excellent tips, color advices and furniture ideas. She has great energy and great ideas. My dog loved her and kept following to play. I am looking forward to making some color, furniture changes and decluttering my place. 

I have long admired Jenny Brennan of Ava Suren's exquisite taste and fabulous design sensibility, so when I got married and moved into my husband's home of 18 plus years, Jenny was my first telephone call.
The house was slightly dated and, of more importance, my husband had lived there with not one but two previous spouses!  OY!   It didn't make sense for us to move as the house is in a great location and interesting architecturally, so the questions were how to update the look and how to transform the house into my home and into an expression of our new life together....without breaking the bank!
In addition to bringing together a few must-have pieces of furniture and art from our different households, my husband and I had just re-painted the first two floors of the house so Jenny focused on blending together aspects of the color and design palette that were in place.
My husband can be very particular so we chose our battles, identifying the few necessary purchases and choice upgrades, as well as offering several practical ideas about how we could revitalize what we already had and how we could improve our storage spaces.
Our living room, dining room and kitchen have an open floor plan.  Through select purchases such as oxidized steel bar stools, a matching coffee table, and mounting an exquisite Asian panel as a painting with colors echoed throughout the first floor,  Jenny was able to unify the spaces.  Knowing of my passion for collecting artifacts from our travels, Jenny was able to rearrange my finds by shape, materials, and color, transforming clutter into artfully displayed and aesthetically pleasing treasures.  Simple custom-made doors and specially installed bins transformed ugly shelves into a tasteful entertainment center.  Our pantry doubles as a laundry closet and through judicious installation of drawers and shelving, not only did we greatly increase the storage space, it was infinitely easier to find items and infinitely nicer to look at!
We work at home and unfortunately my office is the last place that gets my attention!  I am so grateful to Jenny for creating a room of my own that both soothes my spirit and inspires me to work.   A place of calm where I can focus, yet expresses different facets of my personality.  Once Jenny found the red desk that I love, a complementary credenza,  and unique wooden boxes to present extraneous items,  she set up the file cabinets, drawers, and practical storage bins to create an organized and efficient work-place.  She helped me identify what i needed to have on hand and what could be archived in basement storage.
Like many people, my home matters a great deal to me.  A good designer is both a psychologist and an engineer, seeing into a person's soul and implementing practical solutions!  I greatly value Jenny's sensitivity in seeing who I am and her formidable ability to translate that into an environment that is beautiful, comfortable, and functional.

It has been a great experience!  I have never used a color consultant before and I loved Jenny's energy, precision, knowledge and enthusiasm for her work.  She clearly has an eye for color (and design) and is smart, funny, and great to work with.  One of the things I loved about her is what she taught me - she was able to explain why some things work and others don't and make sense of choices we were making and why we shouldn't make other choices.  I love to learn, so this was great.  I also really appreciated her extreme focus and precision.  There is nothing laissez faire or sloppy about Jenny.  She is so professional, but also great fun- personality plus!  And she cares - to get it right, run around the extra miles and time.  I cannot recommend her enough.

Jenny was fantastic. She arrived at my house with incredible paint samples and even better energy. She took the time to get to know me and my overall style and then jumped full force into finding just the right paint colors for my space. She went beyond just selecting paint colors. She considered the light in my house, the overall environment and my lifestyle. Ultimately she struck the perfect balance for my kitchen, lifting the design to a whole new level and teaching me how color really does affect everything (including mood). She is a color coordinator. I loved every color that she picked. The work went great. The one color that I picked didn?t come out so good. She worked pretty frantically in the hours. She charged by the hour and didn?t waste any time.

The project took a great deal of time for everyone involved 2nd to the schedule requirements of it. Overall, very smooth.

I heard about Jenny through Angie's List and was so impressed by prior recommendations, that I decided to give her a try. Jenny is delightful in person and quite knowledgeable about function and design. She asked all the right questions so she could get an idea of what we were looking for and then set about to meet our needs. She stayed in constant communication with us through email and phone and then we set up meetings to discuss her design ideas. We settled on the perfect solution for us. Jenny provides everything in writing and is honest about the cost up front. If something changes along the way, she let us know right away. She is hard-working, professional, thorough, and personable. I would definitely work with her again.

We really liked Jenny. She really threw herself into it. She was not afraid to make suggestions to us even if we seemed resistant. We implemented almost all her suggestions. We love every choice. In general I think jenny is best used for her broad ability set. We quoted some more detailed work and felt that the price quoted was too high. However, for the first phase, we felt every dime spent was good. Her analysis was thorough and suggestions sound.

Jenny was on time, gave a free estimate that took her hours to propose, was articulate, put her heart and soul into it, has a great talent, work ethic and passion. Her professional attitude, artistic flare, creative abilities, and more turned a slop into a show piece and wonderfully functional spaces. She allowed me to work with my workers in order to bring down the cost, as I hired teens to move stuff around the house and clean while she directed them. I would highly recommend her!

What a great experience. I now want Jenny to do my whole house and wardrobe too! In just two days she whipped my pile of junk into a well-organized, easily accessible system. She even re-arranged the area and brought in extra pieces from elsewhere in the house. I feel as if I have a designer basement now and it is definitely a system I can work with. This was a daunting task and I didn't know where to begin. Jenny made it simple and even thought I resisted ''letting go'' of things she helped me work through it and never made me feel bad. Jenny worked efficiently. I think it would have taken twice as long with anyone else. A weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I feel great about the experience, it was money well spent and I'll definitely use Jenny again in the future.
