John did an excellent job for us and I would definitely hire him again. He went out of his way to find a breaker for an old board that isn't sold any longer.

He investigated where I had worked and found the problem in 30 seconds and fixed it in two minutes! I was astonished. And most pleased.a

Wonderfully. Mr. Blythe sent his technician on the scheduled appointment to assess the damage and make the order; Mr. Blythe returned two days later to install the new box. Everything worked wonderfully.

John worked with us on a couple different electrical projects, and was amazing to work with on all levells...professional, personable, thorough, knowlegable, and available.

The Owner John Blythe himself performed the work, I live in Seattle,  John performed the work on my house in Tiburon.  I actually manage construction contracts for a living.  Johns professionalism electrical knowledge and reliability was exceptional.  The pricing was always fair.  He coordinated access with my real estate agent  and performed the work professionally and cleanly and coordinated directly with the town of Tiburon to remedy the towns inspection items.   I wish I had him on my regular work contracts. Just a pleasure to see someone responsible and diligent at their work.  I highly recommend him.

John Blythe and his crew performed outstanding work on our home in Pleasant Hill, regularly keeping me updated of progress, making helpful design suggestions, coordinating with other contractors, and performing high quality craftsmanship. Although it took a little time to set up the appointment, once that was done, I couldn't have been more satisfied.
The electrician that did the work was professional and did the work quickly and expertly. He talked to me about how I wanted the work done before he got started and listened and communicated with me extremely well.
I am extremely happy with the final result. Moving the plug required (at my request) a surface conduit be placed to avoid going into the wall and the appearance is neat and tidy.
I would absolutely use John Blythe Electric again.

John was very professional, courteous and punctual in responding to request for services via my purchase of a one-hour coupon offered during a promotion here on Angie's list. His technician was also very professional and detailed-oriented. He treated my home with respect and cleaned thoroughly during his three hours and upon completion of the job.  

Got ripped off by the "special deal" of $175 service for $!50. see email trail. The guy spent 45 minutes fixing the mwave - I was told by phone (sadly no trace) that this would get me a couple hours of service.
After i asked how much of the "deal" I used I got this reply:
"Hi Mr Sandrolini, The $150 is for the 1st hour which is the minimum for service call. I will go over the outside lighting project with Gary and get back to you. He can get the screwdriver when he comes back. Thank You, John Blythe"
So I responded that I have a $25 credit and his response was:
Here is how it works: Normally our minimum charge for a service call is $175. Through Angie's List we offer a deal where people can get that for $150. That is the deal you bought. The $150 is the minimum charge for the service call.
