Coachella Valley Plumbing

Nathan and Alex came out to my house and ran their snake down my toilet lines and had it clear within an hour. They both wore masks and were very courteous, I will be requesting them for all my future plumbing issues.

RIP OFF ALERT! J Anthony does not care about their customers. They only care about lining their pockets with your money by over charging and not standing behind their work. In 2012 I had them install a new HVAC unit with a 10 year warranty. Fast forward to 2017 and the compressor on the AC unit has gone out. J Anthony tech comes out and says $1800 labor cost to replace the under warranty compressor. You'd figure that they'd give a loyal customer a better price on the work. NOPE! I called Desert Air who quoted $1500 for the same work and I'm not even one of their customers. Stay away from J Anthony. They are the worst professional service company I have ever encountered. It's sad that they prey on people who need cooling to live in the desert.

He told me it would cost $6800 per unit to replace it or fix it. He was only here for 15 min and charged me $110. Beware that they offer deals to come out, but then don't really do anything.

As of this date I am not happy they are suppose to come out on Monday and fix what they didn't on Thursday. We'll see but I am a little worried.

Two J. Anthony employees arrived on time. I told them that one of the outside units was making noise at start-up, but other than that, everything seemed okay. They used my hose to rinse off the units. They noted that my filters were brand new and didn't change them. It would have been nice if they had offered me the filters anyway. They stated that they tightened some loose wires, but that (even thought they were currently working) my units had some serious electrical and motor problems. They asked me who installed my units (another company) and when (2008). They stated that I should buy new ones from them, and that my units were of inferior quality. The representative stated that he loves the company that installed my AC units because "they make so much work" for J. Anthony. Classy. The representative replaced the batteries in my wall switches. I guess my units are "tuned up." I haven't noticed a difference in performance. They left a written report on my units problems. I must note that they never looked at the blower in my garage, or climbed into the crawl space/attic to check the electrical thingy (that they said had major problems). Overall, I had a mixed impression. I was left wondering if their "tune-up" deal was just a ruse to sell brand new units.

They are supposed to come out and put in freon in the air conditioning. They haven't done this yet. They said it wasn't hot enough when I last talked to them.

We were very dissatisfied with the work performed which resulting in the need for a new unit. When we called the main office to get help after the unit stopped cooling we were told that someone would be out to fix the unit between 8 and 10am the NEXT day. No on ever came. At 2pm that day we stopped payment on the check. We have never heard from J Anthony. Obviously the worker was not knowledgeable.

THEY CAME OUT ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND WHEN NO ONE COULD MAKE IT FOR A FEW DAYS AND I WAS LEFT IN THE EXTREME HEAT. THEY CAME ON A WEEKEND AND DID THE WORK EFFICIENTLY. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT IF I HAD DONE MY HOMEWORK I WOULD OF PUT IN A 12 SEER CONDENSER BUT THE 10 IS WHAT THEY HAD IN STOCK FOR THE BUDGET I HAD AT THAT TIME.

DUE TO A WATER HEATER BURSTING, J. ANTHONY RESPONDED PROMPTLY WITH A NEW WATER HEATER AND CLEANED UP ALL DEBRIS BEFORE AND AFTER INSTALLATION. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE WITH A/C AND WAS COMPLETELY PLEASED WITH THEIR COURTESY, EFFICIENCY AND SERVICE.
