Verizon sold this business to Frontier. Frontier was horrible. 1st try at connection service - I never received confirmation call the day before. When I called on the morning of service to confirm, I was told I wasn't on the schedule, so I went to work. However, they showed up while I was at work. 2nd try for connection, I got a confirmation call the night before, but the tech never showed up. I chose another provider. To top it off, Frontier sent a bill for the first month of service (that I never received). Customer service told me to ignore the bill, but I may continue to get bills for 3 months. Ugh!!

I currently am having trouble with them eliminating a line item on my phone bill. There are a couple of cable cards that I had that no longer are needed, but they have some kind of a software glitch and can't get that line item to be deleted. I have called them to get credit. It has been kind of a mess. As long as everything is in accordance it is fine, but when something goes off the rails they just can't deal with it. This problem has existed since the end of last August. It is not getting repaired. They are dealing with another department that has different priorities. My choices are to deal with this monthly call until they finally do fix it or move to someone different. The customer service people are responsive, I give them an A. The company and processes/systems the company uses are not satisfactory. They need to do something, they just can't do it. Everything has been over the phone. They are not punctual and timely at all in fixing my problem. They are always professional.

Description of Work: Installed Verizon FIOS triple play (phone, internet, cable). Their quality is amazing, unsurpassed, but I go into shock every month when I get the bill. There are usually cash bonuses for new customers, which can be a strong incentive to switch. But if you want a better than average cable channel lineup, a faster than average modem speed, a DVR that allows access from other rooms, and a few premium channels (HBO, Showtime, Encore), be prepared to put out $200 per month, or more. If you rent/buy new releases, you will easily be paying $250/month. I recall my first cable TV bill when I blustered, "I will NEVER pay for TV!" Now I'm hooked. I've heard one can install their own digital antenna system? Until I speak with someone who has actually done it, I won't risk it. It would definitely pay for itself though.
