TILE CITY

Some of the poorest customer service i have experienced in a long, long time. The lady that I asked for help had a terrible attitude. She was upset at my questions and got really incensed when i asked to use a calculator. It was like i was doing her a favor for spending my money there. When i went to the warehouse, Jon had an even worse attitude. As I walked through the warehouse to the office, i noticed my order sitting on the floor. When I showed Jon my paperwork, he told me that it "probably was not in stock". He went through the invoices one by one, saying, nope, probably was not there. He went thru the invoices again, slamming each one down slowly, and there it was. It was comical. I thought maybe i was being "punked' it was so pathetic. I had to return to the warehouse and was met with the same pathetic attitude. Both times when i arrived at the warehouse, i had to walk thru the building to the office. A good employee would greet a customer... instead, he wouldn't even look up and had to finish what ever he was doing on the computer before acknowledging my presence. He really enjoyed delaying me for some reason. So, the bottom line is this: I found 3 tile stores on Thousand Oaks Bl and picked Tile City at random. My advice is to try the other and go to Tile City as a last resort. God forbid if you had an issue or return. Every once in a great while, you find a business where you wonder.. how they even stay in business at all.
