Our doctors at The Cat Doctor have a diversified range of specialties. The Cat Doctor is a full service veterinary hospital, offering in-house laboratory, radiology, ultrasound and endoscopy. Dental care including routine prevention, treatment and surgical correction of periodontal disease is available. A wide range of surgical procedures including: spays, neuters, laser declaws, orthopedics, and soft tissue surgeries are offered. We carry a carefully chosen selection of flea control products, therapeutic diets and high-end retail items. Check out our grooming services; bikini clips, lion cuts and paw-dicures with colorful soft paws that are the cat’s meow. “Bed and Breakfast” and medical stays can be arranged while you’re out of town. We also offer behavior consultations for the less than purr-fect feline.

My cats always receive excellent diagnostics and care at The Cat Doctor.  I have been taking them there for about five years now, and have always found the staff to be very professional and very caring towards my pets.  The vets that I've worked with at the Thousand Oaks office of The Cat Doctor (Dr. Lovelace, Dr. Decile, and Dr. Cody) over the years are very knowledgeable and up to date in their profession.  The shop is always very clean and welcoming, and all staff are friendly and accommodating to the needs of my cats and their owner.

All he did was stayed there for a couple of days while I was away and he came back with some kind of infection that nearly killed him. He is okay now.

The exam went well. The service is excellant. About 3-4 months later, they had a utility break-down and was closed for about 3 months. We then moved to another vet in Ventura to help with our older cats.
They are good people with personal care for cats.

The price is reasonable. They cater only to cat so it's not traumatic for our cat. They are very knowledgeable. I think all the vets that work there has cats because they understand them. They're all very welcoming, responsive and do their jobs well.

We have been using the Cat Doctor for years. It changed ownership about a
year or so ago. The Vets are still very good but, they lack the
maturity and experience of the previous staff. They are pretty expensive
compared to other vet offices. However, its much less stressful taking
the cats to a cat only vet. We will keep going there.

The doctors are really good. I had an unpleasant feeling going there due to the billing and administration department. They told me one price for the services and would tack on other fees resulting in a higher price.

I think this place is great all around. I have never had any problems during the 8 years that I have been taking my cat there. The vets are very caring, nice, and they are always good about appointments being done on time. It can be pricey, but when you have an exclusive place for your animal, its worth it.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY NICE. THE WHOLE STAFF ARE VERY COMPASSIONATE TOWARDS THE KITTENS AND CATS. YOU CAN TELL THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS THEY ARE ATTENDING TO. THE ONLY THING IS I THINK THERE PRICES ARE A BIT HIGH.
