Our garage door opener failed and we decided to replace the garage door and the opener. Paradise was very responsive to my call for a quote, and came to my house the next day. Their price was very reasonable, and they had a great selection. We set up a date and they came right on time, and finished exactly as promised. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The door is gorgeous, and the opener works great. It's so much quieter than my old one. I also received 2 remote controls for our cars, and a new control switch on the wall inside the garage, with more features than my old one. i would definitely recommend Paradise Garage Door and Service.

His price is $150 lower than the other company that I got bids too. So far so good. I'm very happy with him. He arrived when he said he would. Responsiveness is good. Price is very good.

Service was quick and professional. Arrived within 30 minutes of calling and was door repaired quickly. Both Linn and his assistant were polite, professional, and thorough.

Job went very well. Called Linn based on all the positive reviews here on Angie's List. He came out that afternoon; being local is a plus, I was literally on his way home. Very nice guy, presented some general info and advise, then came by the next day with some pamphlets to review. We took a few days to decide, his prices were fair, we made a date to install everything, and off he went. Maybe a week later he's out at the house, arrives early, moves everything out of the way he needed, and finishes in less time than estimated (Est. = 4 hrs, time 3-1/2 hrs). And that included cleaning up and moving those appliances/cabinets back for me. I had underestimated how much to clear out of his way, but that was on me. He and his helper (name escapes me) were great. Clean installation, a very quiet motor (got the pulley, not the chain), and two remotes. Done, and we are thrilled. He's got my vote for nicest contractor I may have ever worked with. Highly recommend him to anyone.

Very happy! Left a message and call was returnee within 15 min. Offered to come same day but it is isn't work for me. Came next day exactly when he said he would. Price was exactly as quoted over the phone. Done within an hour. Couldn't be more pleased!

My father backed into his roll up garage door and it came off the track.  It looked like he bent one of the panels and I was expecting the repairs to be costly.    I called Paradise on Sunday and the offered to come out the following day.  The nice fella showed up right on time and got to work.  He quickly assessed it and told us it wasn't that bad.  Within an hour he had the door back on the track and working as good as new.
He was friendly, pleasant, punctual and professional.  
This is the second time I used Paradise.  In September my main spring broke.  The repair man came out the next day and replaced it quickly and charged us $225.00 for the parts and labor.  
Hopefully I won't need their services again, but if I do, I would use Paradise without hesitation.

Justin arrived right on time and discussed options for replacement unit.  Installation was complete in less than an hour including new door sensors and control switch.  Programmed our built-in car controls to work with the new opener.  Explained everything in detail.  Opener works perfectly and is way quieter than our old one.  

Asked them to come out two weeks later to adjust the door to a higher open position to clear our SUV antenna.  Again, arrived on time to the minute, took about 1/2 hour to re-position the opener, then absolutely would not take any additional money for their extra work.

I'll never go anywhere else for garage door work.

I will definitely call mr. Kraus again for any of my garage door needs. He mentioned that our motor will eventually stop working and when it does to call him back. I know this sounds strange, but I can't wait to pay him for his service!

The owner was able to come out the same day as the call.  He explained the issue clearly and provided an estimate before starting the work.  In addition to fixing the problem he fixed the cause leading to the cable issue and restored the door to the proper working condition and did a full review and adjustment of the prior work done.

Linn took a close look at the door and opener and then focused on the safety sensors.  He quickly found a wire staple that was shorting out the wiring when the motion of the door made it vibrate.  He replaced the wiring an staples in that area and the door works perfectly now.  He actually was early to the appointment, did great detective work, then fixed things quickly.  I particularly appreciated that he did not try to up-sell me new equipment.  He even offered to no-charge me if I wanted to fix the wires myself.  Honest, professional service.  A+.

Spring broke on Sunday evening -- no way to open garage door, cars trapped inside. Called Paradise (based on Angie's list recommendation). Caught him during his dinner -- he interrupted it and came within 30 minutes. Repaired the door -- replaced main spring -- trouble free ever since. Great service.

I called Linn stating that my garage door would not close.  He said he would be there in about 20 minutes since he was close to me in Thousand Oaks.  He arrived promptly and was able to get the door to be able to close.  And open too!

when I called him First he quoted $ 85 which is service call Fee.....Thought it was bit High Tried one more source..me..But did not got response so waiting for 2-3 days I called him and one more Time explained that Job is very simple...realizing that He reduced his quote to $45''''''''He came next day and finished the job ( It hardly took 15 minutesto do the job)
