Juventino Contreras

The gardener we had sold his company to Juventino Contreras so we just continued with him. We were paying $50 a month for lawn care twice a month on Thursdays (we have dogs so it is important to know when to expect them so I can be home to close the doggy door). The change went smoothly. Slowly things began to change. The day of the week or which week would change. At this point we are lucky if they come once a month. This last time was the worst. They came on a Tuesday which luckily I was home. I had new Calle Lilies growing following quite a lot of rain. There were about 10 new ones. I bought a soaker hose which I surrounded them with so I could make sure they received enough water. The gardeners came and without asking me about the area moved my hose and cut down all of my new lilies. They were in my flower bed so I didn't realize that they wouldn't be safe. Also, we have a hedge by the driveway that had gotten frost bite and needs trimming back and yet they ignored that the last two times. They don't have the best plan mowing skills. The grass is usually uneven and they will completely ignore any weeds. They also don't have much skill in trimming bushes. My husband spoke with Mr. Contreras a month or so ago and was told that he had been unable to come for a while because his truck wasn't working and he had just gotten the repair work done.
