Hiller Home Creations has been serving the San Fernando Valley since 2008 and is celebrating its 4th year in business. Small jobs to large, we place great importance on the relationship with our clients. We have not had to advertise for the last 4 3 years as our customers have been word-of-mouth referrals. We stand behind our work and will do all that we can to make sure that when the job is finished, you are completely satisfied. We offer “free estimates” – simply call 818.644.1571 to schedule an appointment. Handyman Work Fees: Service call charge: $79 covers the first hour of work. Additional hours: $50 per hr. If completed in the first hour, there are no other labor charges outside of the $79 service call charge. The only other charge/s would be for materials used on the site. Handyman Work Examples: -replacing light fixtures -replacing faucets -patching drywall -replacing outlets -installing GFI outlets -installing dimmer switches -installing ceiling fans -replacing hot/cold water valves -installing towel bars -installing grab bars -simple tile repairs Small projects and large projects would be formally quoted. There is no charge for estimates. Proposals are submitted electronically via email to the client’s email account. A follow-up phone call should be expected 1-3 business days after the proposal has been sent out to find out if it had been received and if there are any questions about it. Referrals are available upon request.

In about 2 or 3 months time, the gate started dragging on one side. He wasn't able to come out to fix it for a month. He then shaved off a portion of the bottom, and it worked great. But then again started dragging 2 months later. After many phone calls, he came out and fully repaired the gate with tension wire at no cost and guaranteed his work, but wasn't fully completed until the first week of November 2012. I am very happy with the gate, and I think this job was small, and he was doing big jobs elsewhere, and trying to fit us in.
Doug is a trustworthy, and excellent contractor, but had trouble scheduling with me.
