HANDYMAN NETWORK

The replacement of the sink trap was fine. The toilet is another matter. I thought I saw a crack in the plastic nut that attached the water hose to the toilet tank. Handyman said that looked fine, I needed a new angle stop. Replaced angle stop. Leak continued, and I called back to say so. Handyman Network sent another rep to look, but since I had turned off the water to the toilet it wasn't leaking at the time, and didn't start leaking right away when I turned it back on. Rep said to leave the water on and to check it every half hour or so and then call back when it started leaking again, which it didn't for a couple hours. Next thing I knew I was making dinner and I heard a loud whooshing sound. Water was pouring through the light fixture and the smoke alarm in the ceiling. I rushed to turn off the water to the toilet, then called Handyman Network and could not get hold of anyone. I called my neighbor for help. He said it was the cracked nut, replaced it and problem solved, except for the water stain on the ceiling. Handyman Network returned my call the next day and apologized, but never even offered a refund.

THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING EXTRA. IT WAS VERY GOOD QUALITY WORK. THEY'RE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT AND SEEMED TO HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
