DO Tile

DO Tile did an excellent job on my tile floors. I got several estimates and Dean was the only one that took the time to help me in deciding what tile I needed; he even suggested laying it on a diagonal which turned out beautiful. Dean and his crew showed up on time every day and did a very professional job. The cost was consistent with the other bids I received. I'm very happy with the floors and still love them.

As a means of background, we are in processes of performing an extensive remodel of our home and have used many different contractors delivering sub par results including tiling. Thus, when it came time to install the tile for our kitchen backsplash (tile wasn't cheap) we didn't trust our existing contractor and spoke to numerous friends on who to use and Dean came highly recommended. Well, his work turned out to be the best of all the contractors we have used and would use him again in a heartbeat. Mind you we were putting up narrow glass tile that is a pain to cut and lay; he went through a bunch of blades on his wet saw making sure every sliver of tile was cut clean and straight (even with tough angles). The tile was laid plumb with no visual imperfections. And every day his crew would clean up without leaving a mess. There were no delays, timing issues nor cost overruns (we made sure we had enough tile on hand going in and his crew did not waste any).

Dean worked with me every step of the way to redesign my master bath exactly how I wanted it to look. he also recommended all sub-contractors who finished the job on time and in budget. When we ran into minor problems, we worked together to create solutions that worked out better than imagined. Dean and his team are reliable, friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend them!

Dont' DO it! This guy completely screwed up our kitchen and bathroom floors and then refused to respond to our many attempts to reach him. Dean did not do any of the work himself. He failed to have his worker prepare the kitchen and bathroom floors properly and the tiles are popping under foot and the grout is coming out.
The house has in-slab radiant heating, and the old flooring was asphalt tiles affixed to the floor with a tarry mastic. Dean assured us that he knew how to deal with both of these issues, which was clearly not the case. We are having to deal with the bonding company now because Dean has been completely non-responsive. He also backed into our security gate while talking on the cell phone.
Concerning the shower stall, his drywall guy, Christian, was completely incompetent, and there was not a square or plumb edge anywhere.

Dean and his team did a remarkable job on our new kitchen. He was pleasant, punctual and his team cleaned up as they went - never left a mess. There was an unexpected problem with the old walls, but they did the repair for us and only charged us a minimal amount for the repair. I will use DO Tile for all our future home renovations.

I am very happy with my experience with DO Tile, and would definitely hire them again. Dean, the owner, came to my house to analyze the work to be done and promptly pointed out the different technical challenges , and immediately suggested various solutions to solve them. Dean's expertise was valuable in guiding my decisions and selecting the optimal tiles for this particular area. The following day, Dean came back to drop off many samples so that I could test the colors and tone of the tiles and quot;in situand quot;. He gave me his estimate and I found the amount to be very competitive.

Dean and his crew started the job on the scheduled day, exactly on time. They worked fast, without making any mess, and with efficiency. The job was completed in four days, start to finish. they did split the tiling part of the job in 2 steps, so as to allow a path, either untiled, or already tiled, through the work area to the second level of the house. This reduced the disruption in our moving through the house, to a very minimum.

The quality and the finish of the job exceeded my expectation. Everything was done perfectly!
