DEBBIE'S PET GROOMING

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMENED DEBBIE’S GROOMING! DO YOUR PET A FAVOR AND DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! Not only was the cut hideous and nothing close to what I requested, my dog is still completely traumatized, 5 days later! I took my happy, confident, outgoing 11-month old Shih Tzu to Debbie’s for a grooming. I received back a scared, skittish, depressed dog that they decided to shave practically bald! Five days later and he continues to lay in one place and has no interest to follow us around the house, go for walks, play with his toys or even eat his food; basically, everything he loves. When I returned to pick him up, I was greeted by an angry woman who proceeded to yell at me that my dog is out of control, that I have let him get away with too much and if I don’t work with him he will get cut! Upon returning home and discovering my dog has been extremely traumatized, I have to believe she decided to teach my dog a lesson and abused him in the name of “grooming”! If my dog was uncontrollable then please stop grooming him and call me, which I would gladly said to stop! Instead they wanted their $75 and in doing so tortured my dog by shaving him, including his face!! He has no whiskers or eyebrows but for some odd reason they left a giant poof of hair on the top his head. I asked for the front strip to be left long so I could pull his hair off his face, instead they left the whole top of his head 3 inches long?! I had to cut that off myself at home! My dog has been groomed three times prior to this and has never returned traumatized or shaved! My heart hurts and I have cried at the thoughts of what they possibly did to him for those two hours he was in their care. My anger has wanted to go handle this face to face how she handled my dog but instead I am writing this review and will post in all places imaginable to hopefully save other dogs from this ****!

We're visiting in Running Springs, CA. Our dog needed to be groomed. I found Debbie's Pet Palace in the phone book. I asked if she had experience grooming Bicheons. She said yes. It was the worst grooming she'd ever received. It was choppy and uneven. She didn't do her nails, and forgot to trim her stomach. Very disappointed. Although she was nice, I will not recommend her.
