They provided thorough understandable descriptions of my options in language that as mostly an "end-user" I could understand. The cost estimate was exactly on target. I ran the specifications and cost estimate by my work IT people and by an IT person who manages a major university server and they both found the options and costs reasonable. While I could save maybe $200 by buying the computer off-shelf at a place like Costco, I would not have the individualized service and would likely--as in the past--end up buying options that I don't really need. They offer "no pressure" sales in a matter of fact way.
We have used them previously and their customer service has always been amazing. The first time that we called them a few years ago, my computer had crashed big time and it was 10:30 at night. We called to leave a message so that we could talk with them 1st thing in the a.m....and to our surprise the owner answered the phone and invited us to drop the computer by so that they could take a look when they opened. Now that is amazing!
Excellent customer service, advice, and pricing then and now.
They work on both MACs and PCs--we have had them work on PCs and they sell refurbs and new computers with helpful warranties. They will set up the computers as much or as little as you like in their store or your home.
