Family owned and operated for over 20 years. We are a small company, We do not use subs. CMI heating has a base rate of $59.00 this includes diagnostic and travel to the Conejo valley area. All repairs are charged by the labor and parts required. All work comes with A 90 day warranty on labor and all parts installed are covered for 1 year. We at CMI Heating have a reputation of being on time and leaving the job site clean.

Residential & Commercial service and repair of all makes of heating and air conditioning systems. We specialize in refrigerant leaks, and allergys are a problem we can show you filtration systems to keep your air clean. We also install attic ventilation and whole house fans., and complete installation on new duct systems. We will advise on new energy efficient systems and installation cost for those systems. If dust, pollens, repair and or replacement of broken duct

At first Craig was great...he diagnosed the part in my 28 year old furnace that was malfunctioning. He stated that the part was no longer made but he knew of a source. OK...fine...5 stars..I paid him $60.. But the next Monday I called to find out if he found the part. "Yes, I found the part. It will be here Friday." I asked him for the part number? "No I don't give out part numbers. People who ask for part numbers often want to know how much I paid for the part." Thus it became pretty clear to me that Craig had jacked up the price on this small furnace part. So I asked him what the part and the labor would cost. "It will be $200 for the part...and another $150 for the labor."....or so I recall. "Do you want the part or not?" He was rather demanding and even rude as though I was a "trapped customer" and he had what I wanted and he was going to make me pay BIG BUCKS for the priviledge. I felt that he was taking advantage of me so I called back and cancelled the purchase. But...his demeanor and lack of "transparency" about the part number lowered his rating to a one or two...sorry to say.
