In the course of fixing the heater, he broke two other motors which were on the other side of the pool. They won?t take the responsibility for it and didn?t offer anything off the bill! The first time I called them it took forever to get them out. I would never call them again.

Jay came to our home to bid work on our existing pool. He seemed very knowledgable about the systems and made some helpful suggestions. He was slow to respond but seemed busy at the time. We decided to move forward with Jay and asked him to bid the work. He sent a non-itemized bid to us that we asked him to break out into components. That took a couple of weeks. After receiving the itemized bid we thought the pricing was a little high but not crazy so he worked with us to shave some costs out. We were ready to move forward but when we asked about the materials on one particular line-item he said that the material we wanted would be more expensive than what he bid. We honestly thought that he had actually suggested the more expensive material to us but rather than argue about it we just asked him to list in the bid what materials were contemplated for the rest of the items so we wouldn't have any more misunderstandings. After waiting a few weeks for the bid to come back we emailed again with no reply. We called his office over the next month and they said each time that he would "call us right back". Call us stupid, but it took us two months of that before we realized that he really had no intention of even returning the call. Nearly three months of wasted time. Again, he seemed personable and knowledgable but I wouldn't work with someone who refused to spell out in a bid what materials he was bidding to use. Also, if he didn't want to work with us that is, of course, his right, but we thought it was incredibly rude for them to continue saying that they would get back to us when they had no intention of doing so.
