They were very effecient. The job was well done.

Whit was called to remove an old oak tree, diseased, after a large section fell. They also came out when another oak was splitting and took it down the same day. The crew were professional in their interactions with us and cleaned up the grounds where the tree was felled.

Whit's-Turn Tree Care work was completed exceptionally well. The workers were very professional, all spoke English and they were prompt in the morning and left the area clean at the end of the day. I could not be more pleased with the service provided by Henry and his crew. They were on time, professional and very polite. We will need more work done later in the year and we will defiantly be calling them. I just wish I had seen the discount provided on Angie's List but even still, I feel I was quoted a fair price. No complaints at all.

The schedule was set by us the day of the estimate and the crew of six arrived right on time with all the equipment - neat, clean, fully operable - which is the way excellent companies do things. Whit was there and took all the time needed to walk thru the job (based on the estimate) with both of us and his foreman, who was personable and experienced. As is typical with this type of work, a few additions were made and there was no "that will cost you more" attitude. Whit left and the crew - already working on the first part of the job - kicked the work into high gear. For the next four plus hours they did the job in a professional, cooperative manner between each other and with us, as we periodically indicated a "cut here or cut there" to get the type of job we wanted. The foreman was an excellent go-between with us and the crew, but all the crew members were helpful and cooperative individually with - there was no "you have to go thru the foreman" attitude. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

We had a very large old valley oak tree fall in our backyard.  Whit came over very promptly to give us an estimate.  He wasn't able to schedule the work immediately due to weather and his schedule - had to wait a week or so.  But his crew showed up promptly, very professional, very courteous.  They cleaned up and chipped all the upper branches, and left the chips (at our request) in a neat pile.  For all the larger branches that were good for firewood, we had them cut the branches into 15-18 inch lengths and leave them in a pile.  The main trunk had fallen across our fence line, destroying about 50 feet of fence.  We have quite a bit of space where the tree fell, and we wanted to keep the cost of the work down.  Also, we kind of like the idea of having a "tree-trunk sculpture", so we told them to leave the trunk where it was - just cut off the pieces that straddled the fence line so we could re-build the fence.  They finished the work in about a half a day.
We were very happy with the work, and would definitely use them again!

We had miscommunicated with each other - since then they have strived to make things right.

They trimmed two huge elm trees that are very close to my house. They used a boom and didn't drop any limbs on my roof. They were quiet and considerate.

They arrived on time and got the job done quickly.  Due to the location of the oak tree, they couldn't use a lift so three guys had to climb the tree to do the pruning.  They even cut and stacked the oak wood for me.  When they were done, they cleaned the yard of all debris.  I was very happy with their work.

We have used Whit's-Turn twice.  We were really happy with the service both times.  This time they removed a large tree and stump along with several large bushes.  We had a small issue but they took care of it right away.  They do a great job and I would have no problem using them again.

Whit explained that I had two options. The first being they essentially clear cut the tree which would remove a majority of the non main branches and reduces the cover significantly (the cheaper option). The second option was to allow them to actually clean up the tree, remove what needed to be removed, but at the same time allow more cover and branches to be left (the more expensive option). He explained the reasons behind both options and said they'd be happy to do either. I went with the second option because I still wanted some shade. 
They showed up about 10 minutes early, were done within three hours and did everything as agreed to. They did a great job on the tree, removed everything they cut and left a minimal mess. They even managed to avoid damaging my fragile fence aside from one board popping out. Was happy with the results, would use again.

Whit's-Turn Tree Care offered their services at very reasonable price.  They were extremely professional and cleaned up after their work.  Their cost estimate did not change.  I would definitely recommend them to anybody and will use them again in the future!

We've used them several times over the years. They are excellent. It was $900 for the tree and $300 for the stump removal. It is family owned. They are polite. They are busier in the summer time. Their prices are reasonable and much better than the competition. We have been happy with them. They are here when they say they will be.

Everything went well.  They arrived on time and worked quickly.  They cleaned up thoroughly.  Were polite, friendly and considerate of our neighbors.  They moved out into the street to do the mulching of the tree branches to minimize the noise.  They even trimmed some branches off an additional tree when our neighbor asked about it -- at no extra charge.

They were excellent!  One of the owners is a licensed arborist and understood the trees' needs.  They did great work, followed up well, and completed the job in one day.
