Description of Work: Steve came out to my home on a Saturday to look at erosion that was affecting my permanent foundation. I discovered that he was the person who had added support when the previous owner had renovated and needed more support to hold the additional weight. Steve explained what I needed to do and was able to allay my fears about failure of the support as well as confirm that the foundation would support a new roof. He quoted me a truly reasonable price of $800 which is offset by $75 of the cost for him to come out to evaluate the problem,for re-leveling my home after we complete soil compaction and then discounted that price. He did mention that he is now semi-retired after 40 years in the business. I will be calling him back to do the re-level as soon as we complete the soil compaction in the eroded areas.
