They gave me the best price for a good unit. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend them for major installations. However, for small service calls they charge or repairs they are expensive. They charge a hefty diagnostic fee that is not included in the repair if there is one.

This is the second time I've used Connor for a project of this size and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Jarred came to our home to do a thorough inspection and answer my many detailed questions before he submitted an estimate. His pricing was competitive, and he provided great advice on options for achieving what we wanted. He was very flexible in scheduling our installation dates, and the crew arrived on time and completed the project within the expected time frame. Connor's quality and customer service are top notch!

Working with Connor Air was easy. Jerrad was very professional when he came out to give the bid. He was thorough and we saw right away that he knew what he was doing. He checked and commented on various areas of our existing unit unlike the other vendors. Mary, the office manager, is very nice and we were set up in a timely manner for the install. The installers Tim, Matt, Cody and Chris were friendly and considerate. They installed in the time they quoted. It was quite a big job as they had to move the system from our basement to our attic and re-duct all. The new control system is very easy to use and we like the fact that we can control it from our phones! We would highly recommend working with Connor Air if you need new AC and/or heating. We qualified for a rebate and Jerrad handled everything for us!

It went very well. Jared Connor, our contact, was very polite and punctual and easy to discuss options with. The work was scheduled very quickly for a one week installation. Three people did the installation. They arrived promptly each day, worked hard and were very nice. The work was completed in the one week. The work was then inspected by the required testing technicians and by the City of Pasadena. We are very satisfied and would recommend Connor to anyone who needs air conditioning or heating. We also are using Connor for annual inspections and maintenance.

Crew showed up on time, did all work in a timely manner, consulted with me as needed. So far we are very satisfied with both Conner Air and the Mitsubishi unit they installed.

I scheduled seven appointments to get estimates to replace our AC/Furnace system. Seven players, if you will, all with very decent batting averages, to fill one spot and make the team. I put each one in the batter’s box and let ‘em swing for the fences. Three struck out almost immediately. Two got a man on base and one even had a runner in scoring position. Then Jared form Conner Air came to the plate…and he just kept hitting one home run after another. In the end, the final score wasn’t even close. Conner Air not only got the job but after it was completed, made me look like a genus for hiring them. Jared answered all our question, which were many, and patiently answered all our emails, which were substantial. Their quote was competitive to begin with and when we looked at all the finer, final touches, the extras and attention to details, it became obvious there was something very different and unique about this company. Here’s a company that knows and acts as though, what it does today will affect tomorrow and all the tomorrows to come. They’re in it for the long haul and will be around for years to come because they understand the value of customer service. The roll up your sleeves, throw out the welcome mat, kind of service. And to the all-important guys who actually do the work of installing, trouble shooting and dealing with overly inquisitive customers (present company included), guys like Cody, Tim and Matt, some heartfelt thanks for your friendly, informative and professional behavior. You did a great job. And a special MVP Award to Cody who took only two breaks in two days of working. And those were lunch breaks. My final advice. Whenever you have a chance to look like a genius, especially in front of the love of your life and/or your kids…take it and call Conner Air.

They are an outstanding organization. We are very pleased with them. The price is reasonable. The service was good. We had an appointment with them, they came out and did what they were supposed to do. They are always very professional. They have installed a complete central air heating and cooling system for us. They workers were great, very professional.

My old 35 year old unit broke and to fix it was not cost effective. I got two estimates and both were comprable. I chose Connor Air because of their attention to detail was more thorough than the other contractor. There were no surprises. Connor Air is also a qualified contractor involving rebates. The work was started and completed within the timeframe promised. The workers showed up on time and were professional, courteous, and answered any question I had. They worked carefully and cleaned up after themselves. When the job was done you could not tell anyone was here except noticing the new unit on the roof. The job entailed removing the old unit on the roof, the old ducts, the old air return, and the old platform on the roof. They installed a new two stage 4 ton heating and air unit, build a new roof platform, new air return, new duct work, and a new thermostat. Everything was sealed and tested. The required third party tests and inspections were done on time and they all passed. The unit works great. Connor Air is a family business with a sense of pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs heating and air conditioning service, installation, or retrofit.

They suggested a leak check which would require taking the system off-line for two weeks to diagnose the problem. Because it was so hot (over 100 for several days) I declined since the original company was replacing the freon at no charge while they worked to find the leak I would stiff it out with them. The rep was very professional and knowledgeable. I will probably call them in the future.

All the exceptional reviews of Connor Air Conditioning & Heating are true and well deserved. What the reviews did not mention, and what separates Connor from all the other residential HVAC contractors is that they only do business with the best suppliers, like Trane, they are financially strong (no required large upfront deposit or progress payments – you pay when the job is done), they handle the entire process (from rebate processing, asbestos removal, to HERS testing) and its ownership (the Connor family) are sincerely concerned that you are happy with the job. My new two-stage Connor installed Trane air conditioning system is cooling my house to 70-degrees today when the outside temperature is 110-degrees. The system is so quite that you cannot even hear it running, which is pretty impressive.

Jarred and Tim were great. Jarred Connor is very easy to work with and is flexible, knowledgeable up front and honest.

When he needed to change our install date, he let me know a week in advance. When there was a situation with our return duct, he was up front about not being able to run a complete, end to end, new ducting.

He advises you on recommendations but was open to my views of my homes energy needs and what rooms need more cooling and which one’s do not.

The abatement company that they sub-contracted to Alliance Environment Group Inc., was great as well. The guys were punctual and completed the removal of asbestos insulated ducting in about 4 hours. The prepped the house, creating sealed boxes, or cocoons to ensure any airborne particles are captured as they exited the closet with the attic access panel. They laid down thick cardboard like paper on the floor from the door to the closet. Just all around great workers.

We have been using Connor Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration for routine HVAC maintenance for several years now.  The system in our 1923 Pasadena home was over 20 years old and showing its age.  At the same time my son was having a major addition completed at his 1924 South Pasadena home and my daughter had just purchased a 1906 home in South Pasadena with no HVAC upstairs and only heating downstairs.
I called Jarred who provided many options for each home based upon the efficiency we were trying to achieve.  Once we determined the preferred options, Jarred scheduled the work for each property.  His team showed up on the agreed upon dates, worked professionally and developed creative solutions to install 21st century, high efficiency HVAC systems into homes built over 90 years ago.  We had the same team for all 3 homes and they were extremely friendly, hard working and expert in their knowledge and application of HVAC design and installation.  All projects were completed within the 3 to 4 days allocated for each system and they all work incredibly well.  In the end, we had new furnaces, cooling coils, compressors and insulated ducting at all our homes and have already started to see significant reductions in our heating and cooling costs.
We will continue to use Connor for routine maintenance of our new systems and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any residential HVAC work in any type of home.
