The job went very well.  The tear off crew arrived very early in the morning,  but waited in their truck until 7 am to begin tear-off.  The crew was nice and clean, and did an especially good job of making sure stray nails were not left lying around.  The sheeting was done extremely well.  All the cuts were nice and tight, there were no sloppy cuts.  Even the city inspector commented on the quality of the work the crew did and said it was apparent that this roofing contractor is passionate about his work and wants to do the job correctly.  They went the extra mile to make sure that everything was done right.  They added battens and supports to prevent the roof from being spongy.  The ends of the shingles in the valleys and at the eves are cut nice and straight so it looks clean and professional. 
Peter was good about staying in contact regarding scheduling and any additional issues/costs that might be incurred as a result of items that needed to be replaced or repaired.  It was apparent that he was a very professional contractor and he and his crew knew what they were doing.
Any questions I had were immediately answered and Peter was easily accessible by telephone if I had concerns or questions.

I had Peter out a few times, he was responsive, and productive and price was reasonable. Peter was easy to work with, and cared about quality. Overall good expirience and would use again in future.

He said the new rood would be ?bullet-proof.? After the first small rain and the roof leaked along the patio seam and into my bedroom, I called him and said the roof maybe bullet-proof, but it wasn?t waterproof. He reluctantly came and applied some black material which did not fix the leaks. The next rain which was a bit stronger, the roof continued to leak and again I called and he came and applied black material to the same areas but said it wasn?t the roof but the windows that were leaking. Strangely enough, as the rain continued a little stronger, the leaks in the windows almost stopped after he repaired corner holes I point out to him. The rain later caused leaking into my furnace downstairs which poured through the furnace and onto the floor. I had to replace it at a cost of $4,000.00. I called him and he said he didn?t have any money ? I was on my own. What good is a guarantee if he doesn?t resolve issues like this that shouldn?t happen in the first place?                

There are other issues as well with the patio cover that drips sap because it wasn?t painted prior to construction and the patio floor that still bubbles after he applied a material that he later admitted was ?crap.?                

I do not have peace of mind with the roof at all. I dread what the next rain may bring.                

I feel that his ?20 year guarantee) entitles me to an independent roof inspection/repair and at least partial compensation for the furnace replacement?. I am very unhappy.

The insurance company is coming out right now because my room is flooded and it is going to the room below it. It has became one big mess in our executive office.

I contacted Zazzara Construction after finding their number here on Angie's List. Peter called me back immediately and we set up an appointment to go over the work I wanted done in my kitchen. Peter was very accommodating with the appointment time and he worked with my schedule. We set the appointment for 11am on Saturday morning. Peter arrived promptly at 11am and was very professional. He made me feel comfortable as we discussed what I wanted done. The samples he brought out were almost exactly what I described to him on the phone and I quickly picked out my new cabinets, granite and I looked through his catalog and found the exact faucet I wanted. Peter gave me the estimate that Monday afternoon and we met again to sign the contract. I gave him the deposit immediately so he could begin work that week. He ordered everything so that when they were done tearing out my old kitchen the new stuff could be installed right away. The guys he had working for him were also very nice and professional. Any questions I had they answered with patience and understanding. The work was completed as per the contract and I absolutely love my new kitchen.

I paid him for the work and he didn't pay the employees. The employees came after me and I had to pay for the work a second time. The work that was done was good but it was not good enough to pay for it twice. The cost listed is for both payments.

In the fall of 1999 Peter did a lot of upgrade work on my old house. He was extremely reasonable,experienced and proved to be very reliable and trustworthy. Peter consistently followed through with all tasks and provided good wholesale price on materials. No task was too small.
