Eric did an outstanding job designing and building our pool and spa. Eric came up with some great designs that we had not thought about and it really made the pool/spa look great! Either Eric or his assistant, Weston, came by almost constantly checking up on our construction. This kept the project on tract. One thing we liked is that Eric understood septic systems and the rules for our area. The pool was finished a year ago (December 2017), and no problems have risen with the construction or the equipment.

OK. They weren't always here when they said that they would be. They had to come back to redo things. They did solve a problem with the leaking water feature by lining it with pebble tech.

Eric Phoenix did an outstanding job designing our pool and acting at the general contractor overseeing its completion. I would hire him again.

Alex was a pleasure to work with. He had lots of expertise - which helped when we needed advice. He really worked to get us what we wanted within our budget and even upgraded some of our ideas without raising the price. Every time we had a new idea, he said "we can do that!" His entire crew were helpful and friendly and seemed to enjoy being true experts at what they do. It was clear what relaxed respect the whole team had for each other. Alex was consistently available, and no question was too little for him to explain thoroughly to us. We would absolutely recommend Phoenix Pools & Spas!

Overall I was pleased with the entire process from start to finish.  There were no surprises everything played out exactly how I was told it would.  The finished product is very nice.

It went great.  Eric did a great job of ensuring the job ran smoothly and on time.  He gave us great ideas on design elements.  Additionally, all of the crew that worked with him on the project were very professional and excellent in their trade.  I would highly recommend Eric and his team of professionals for a pool installation.

Overall, I would give it a 9/10. Very affordable. I had this completed while I was across the country. Great value and I get a lot of compliments on my pool all the time.

Eric was great to work with. We bought a home with a very small backyard, coupled with the problem of having one large sprawling concrete patio that had a existing patio cover over it. Eric came in and saw our vision for taking the existing empty space and cutting out part of the patio to build a small pool that looked like the patio was designed around it! It turned out better than We expected! He was very conscientious of our budget and gave us beautiful choices that helped us stay within that budget. He always checked the work done by his subcontractors (that love working for him) and moved our project along quickly dispite the rainy weather. We highly recommend him for any pool project! They have been great. When we call them, they are right on it, and they let you know what’s going on there. I have no negatives about them. I have nothing bad to say about them. I don’t breathe easy either. Their price is fair. They will be out here around the 7th of July.

Phoenix Pools and Spas, Inc., is a Temecula, California based pool contracting company run by two partners, Eric Phoenix and Alex Decamp.  We worked with Alex from design to filling the pool.  He does not come across as a sales person, which  we liked, and he is very responsive to concerns.  He guaranteed work to be done within 10 weeks and was finished in just under 7 weeks.  He uses subcontractors for each phase, and has used most of the contractors for over 10 years, making the project run very seamlessly.  There were no "surprises" which caused a cost increase, and he was very honest about what issues might lead to the project going over budget.  Each subcontractor does excellent work.  The masonry coordinator was a little eccentric, but that team does stellar work.  Our pool looks gorgeous.  It can be difficult when building a pool because your background essentially gets destroyed for a period of time, but on the rare occasion we had a concern about debris buildup Alex was genuinely concerned about getting his cleanup guy out there in a timely fashion.

They did a great job! The pool turned out exactly as the samples. The timing on the project was four weeks under schedule which was great.
