After I received the reply from this business I e-mailed back the same day & supplied the information which had been asked of me.  No response.  I e-mailed the information to him again on 12/4/2014.  The last time I attempted contact was on 12/16/2014.  There has been no further communication from this business.  No service was performed.

He was very thorough, professional and didn't charge me too much. Towards the end, they dragged the work a little bit. I saw the reviews on Angie's List a little later and didn't find too many good reviews.

We had purchased a home which had a nice wrap around patio, island, fire pit, etc, but had never been sealed by the previous owners. The concrete was a dull dusty, ugly color. We got several quotes on sealing it, and chose Matt's company, as he was professional, came out twice for quotes, showed us examples of staining, and offered a fair price. The job he did was fantastic! In just a few of hard work on his part, he took our ugly drab patio, and made it look brand new. The difference was night and day, we were really pleased with the quality of his work, and his professionalism and clean-up afterwards. I have told several others about the great job he did, and would highly recommend his work.

We bought a house in a new town, so we had to start all over finding a new contractor, electrician, plumber, etc. We found a contractor, Matt Ortwein of Lancon Plus, on Angie's List and gave him a call. After meeting Matt, we decided to hire him because we were impressed with the detail of his estimate, professionalism and knowledge. Matt listened to what we wanted and mindful of our budget. In the process of demolishing the old concrete patio around our pool (due to removing a nonworking built-in BBQ), he discovered additional unexpected issues. We had a drain pipe that was broken due to a palm tree root growing through it for many years, a leaking skimmer and a leaking sprinkler manifold. Matt charged a very fair price to fix these unexpected issues instead of capitalizing on our misfortune. Matt was very thorough in his inspection and tests to make sure all issues were remedied before the new concrete patio was poured. Matt always maintained a line of communication concerning timelines and issues. We just had our patio poured two days ago and it looks beautiful! My husband calls it a "work of art." We were unable to be at the house when the concrete was poured, but our neighbor went over and to take a peek and called me to tell me that the crew did a very good job pouring and cleaning up afterwards; then she asked me for his number. If you are looking for someone who will charge you a fair price and has an eye for detail, Matt's your man!

Came on first service call; said they would come back and make some measurements but never showed up or called.

What i liked right off the bat is that when they showed up for the quote, they were very enthusiastic about the yard and they made suggestions for the drains, conduit, and walkway curb. All of which ended up being great additions to the yard.... and free. I had tried out several contractors but I always had an "not so sure" felling with them. Some were really really cheap but wanted cash (bad idea if you dont already know), some asked for way to much, some just seemed like they didnt even want to be there to give me a quote, some tried to offer me way to much for way too good of price. But as soon as these guys got here I had a different feeling. I like the fact that he didnt give me a quote right a way like all the other guys (cause that can be innacurate), but instead he measured everything, drew it all out, and told me that he would call me later that night or the next day with the quote. He had by far the most fair and reasonable quote out of everyone i tried. And everything was on paper. Each individual price for each part of the job. They didnt ask for money untill each individual job was done. For example once they finished the concrete I paid them for the concrete, kind of a pay as you go deal instead of one lump sum. They started work when they said they would and they finished in about two weeks, and the only reason it took even that long is because they didnt work 4th of July weekend. I couldnt have asked for a better job. Once they finished it was almost surreal. My yard was all dirt and rock and uneven with potholes everwhere before they started. Now its a beautiful green yard with palm trees and a patio and working sprinklers. I can finally have friends over for barbecues in the backyard. Even now, weeks after the job was done I still call them every now and than for tips or advice and they are more than happy to help. They have even stopped by to help me adjust my sprinklers and give me tips on keeping the concrete clean and whatnot. I highly recomend these guys. You wont be disapointed. If youve been looing for a while and havent found someone your comfortable with my advice is to call these guys. They have a way of making you feel confident about your decision to use them. They did a fantastic job.

They arrived on time, prepared, and worked virtually all day without a break.They took the initative to make improvements in design we had not previously discussed because they care about their work. The project came in on time, on estimate, and I couldn't be happier with the result.
