 + -1 moreThere is no phone number to call for service. When you call the office no one ever calls you back. when you call the extended warranty office located in Colorado they say that things are not covered under that warranty. They haven't heard from Curtis Corp. since 2005. Don't buy a Curtis Home

 + -1 moreALTHOUGH IT TOOK AWHILE FOR THEM TO GET THE WORK DONE, ONCE THEY STARTED DOING IT, THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THEY DID EVERYTHING I ASKED THEM TO DO WITHOUT COMPLAINING ABOUT IT. I DIDN'T HAVE TO CALL THE OFFICE OR ANYTHING. IT WAS DONE THROUGH DIFFERENT SUBCONTRACTORS SO COMMUNICATION WAS A BIT OF A PROBLEM. THEY WOULD ACTUALLY SHOW UP WHEN THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY WOULD.
Description of Work: THEY FIXED A ROOF LEAK, REPLACED DRYWALL, REPAINTED THE DRYWALL, REPLACED INSULATION, AND DEHUMIDIFIED THE WALLS AND CARPET.

 + -1 moreI WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I FELT LIKE THEY JUST DID A SHORTCUT AND DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED. THE PROBLEM WAS A DESIGN FLAW. THEY PUT A VENT IN THE ROOF TOO CLOSE TO THE VALLEY. WHEN WE HAD A MUCH LARGER THAN NORMAL STORM, THE WATER BACKED UP INTO THE HOLE WHERE THE VENT IS AND CAME INSIDE THE HOUSE.
Description of Work: THEY INCREASED THE SIZE OF THE VALLEY IN THE ROOF TO ALLOW MORE WATER FLOW BY CUTTING THE TILES ON THE ROOF WITH A SAW.

 + -1 moreOVERALL IT WAS GOOD. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THE CONTRACTOR WASN'T FUN TO DEAL WITH, BUT THESE GUYS WERE FINE.
Description of Work: THEY TOOK OUT WET AND RUINED DRYWALL AND REPLACED IT WITH NEW DRYWALL AND PUT COATING ON IT TO MATCH THE TEXTURE OF THE OLD DRYWALL AND COVERED IT. THEY REPLACED THE INSULATION THAT WAS ABOVE IT.
