About us

We specialize in installing and/or repairing skylights in all of Southern California. I have over 30 years experience in skylights. I am a certified 5-star installer and dealer for Velux Skylights. Basically, we take care of all skylight needs. Estimates are free. I personally do all the installations myself. I do not use subcontractors. My contractor's license number is 804576, which is a B1, C17 contractors license, which is a general contractor and glazer license. A 10% deposit is required upon acceptance with payment due upon completion. We accept all major credit cards.

Very happy with the work done as well as the service. Since I live in a condo complex, it was important to be able to replace the old skylight with something similar in appearance, & C & J was able to do that at a reasonable price.

Openable skylight was very old and leaking. Jeff Smith (owner) was very responsive, communicated throughout the process, was very professional and competent, presented options, made recommendations, showed up on time, was able to perform the service ahead of schedule, and did the job very well. He called me back right away and we discussed the issue. He was knowledable and i would have used him had he not been booked 3 weeks out. My roof was leaking and it was going to rain again within a week, so i had to use someone else. I will keep the number handy.

Jeff Smith is responsible, responsive, listens well, is creative in developing a good solution, and uses high-quality materials and workmanship. His prices are not low, but the quality of the work reflects the cost. In each case, Jeff worked with us, provided alternatives, assisted with associated projects (putting in can lights while the ceiling was open, working with drywall professionals) and helped each project be a success. We're happy with everything (even though he's expensive).

The fix did not resolve the leak, so I ordered the four skylights. After removing the skylights he also repaired the roof with new paper and flashing. The skylights come with a no-leak guarantee and he guaranteed the repair he did, too. I found Jeff to be professional and very knowledgeable. His pricing is very fair. If you need skylights, this is the man to trust.

I had a positive experience. They did it in a very reasonable time, I am very happy with them. I'd give them a thumbs up. They are very very (inaudible 1:18). It took them about a week to get the window in and put it in. To get the skylight and do everything. They left the area excellent when they were finished. I think just one person came to complete the service.

The company was responsive and attentive to helping us address this leak. as it turned out the HOA is responsible for any roof related leaks so they are taking care of it and no work was needed from this company. But i want to acknowledge their promt attention and professional attitude.

very well. Jeff is actually the person who did the work. he is not a salesmen who subcontracts to someone else. Jeff cut the hole in my roof, framed, installed the skylights, painted and finished all in a few hours. he was on time and cleaned up the mess.
