They were awesome! Right on time worked the whole time they were here. Did an awesome job of clean up also. They are insured and bonded. Can't go wrong with this guys. Oh and they were actually very reasonably priced. Thank you guys for a job well done! All future work will be with this company.

We had used Arborquest previously for tree trimming and contacted them for mulch (900 sf).  James called us the following day and scheduled an appointment for the free quotation.  James arrived on time, provided a quotation, and were able to provide the service within 3-4 days.  The mulch was delivered and spread within 48 hours of the quote and they did an excellent job.  Arborquest is responsive, professional, and provide outstanding service for a reasonable price.  We recommend Arborquest for tree trimming and mulch.

We called on Dec 31st, after the snow storm (yes I said snow storm) damaged many of our trees.  I wasn't really expecting a quick response since it was a holiday coming up, but I was pleasantly surprised when they called on the 2nd and said they would come for an estimate.  We had them estimate trimming three large queen palms that many of the branches had broken due to the snow, and also trimming a large tree in the front that had lost many branches from the weight of the snow. 
We also had them estimate removing two other trees but decided to hold off on that work for now.
They were able to do the work the same day and they trimmed everything beautifully.  They thoroughly cleaned up all the branches and leaves in our yard and left everything looking clean and groomed.  Would definitely use again and highly recommend them.

WOW...these guys were great! Showed up right on time and got straight to work. The job originally was just to remove the trees, but as they were working I asked them if they could also remove all the hedges and plants. He said that was not a problem at all, and when I asked if I went bought some plants would they mind planting, again, they were more than happy to help. I don't have much of a green thumb, so after looking at some pictures of how I wanted the planters to look, they helped me with the selection of the plants and where to plant them. At the end of the day, everything looked perfect, and the area was cleaned up and looked better than when they started!
I can't say enough great things about Laan's!

John Laan has done a lot of work for me cutting trees and trimming some this year and last. I put the price of the latest job he did for me stump grinding, but he has done other work for me for which I don't remember the prices.They were reasonable or I would not have hired him again.
He dug out a large date palm which he was able to sell. It was a massive operation and done with no damage to the house or landscape. He cleaned up very well, operated equipment with caution and expertise. He is very particular about what his employees do. He pays a lot of attention to detail and cleans up to the point of removing tire marks on the driveway left by his truck. This is to say he does what other contractors do not even think of. He knows his trees so I am happy to get his advice.
He cut down some trees that were fire hazards and ground the stumps and then others he treated so we did not have to grind out the stumps. They did not grow back.
John has a lot of work and sometimes had to re-book my jobs because his equipment needed repair or a prior job took a longer time than he expected. I think it is in the nature of the work, however he has tried to be on time. He certainly is cautious to call and notify should he be running late or not able to make it that day. In general he comes on time and has a good professional attitude towards customers.
I will hire him again definitely.

I left a voicemail requesting information about their services. My call was returned that day and a time was arranged for a home visit to provide a free estimate. We felt that the estimate was reasonable give the amount of work that needed to be completed. The team of three mean were able to start the work the afternoon of the work appraisal and estimate. We were surprised at how much they were able to complete in about one and one half hours. The team were organized, efficient, obviously experienced. It was apparent that they were used to working togther as a team. The rest of the work was completed a few days later as scheduled. They did everything that we asked to be done. They were courteous and respectful of us and our property. The money was well spent. Our property looks much better. They were efficient, professional, courteous, and friendly.

I have a large number of trees around my house and they need trimming every two to three years. I called Laan's Tree Service to setup an appointment to let them know which trees I thought needed work. John came out to give me a cost estimate. I have to say that Laan's has been the only company I have used for many, many years - at least 6 or 7 times. Based on previous experience with Laan's, I don't get estimates from other companies because I wouldn't consider hiring anyone else for that type of work on my property. We scheduled the day for the work to be done. Everything was promptly completed as agreed. They worked quickly and as always, did an excellent job of clean up. Overall, I feel Laan's is an excellent company with friendly, courteous, and efficient staff!

The crew did a great job of shaping the tree, it looks beautiful. John is very courteous and very knowledgeable. I was nervous about having the tree trimmed, it has such a beautiful and delicate look to it. But not to worry, I will definitely call him again!

Called Laan's Tree Service and left a message to setup a time to come and estimate a price for my job. My call was returned timely. Mr. John Laan stopped by on his way home one evening. He wrote up a written estimate for me and I accepted his bid. He left the pink copy of his multi-part INVOICE form with me and asked me for about two weeks before coming back to complete the project. I agreed.

Two Fridays later, he called to ask if the following Monday would be a good day. "Sure!" I said. As it turned out, some weekend weather turned our Monday date into Tuesday.

A crew of five (5) guys arrived Tuesday at 10:40 a.m. Part of the job involved removing a section of my wood fencing and some rose bushes to allow access to the tree with machinery, and to establish a path on which to remove the wood and debris. They performed this well and with high regard for my property. Eighty (80) minutes later, the tree had been felled and removed from the back yard, down to the stump. I hope you can see my pictures. The crew took lunch. Crew member Juan explained that Mr. Laan would arrive at the site after lunch to bring and operate the stump grinding machine to complete the job.

The whole project was completed before 3:00 p.m. and my property had been quickly and carefully returned to its original condition except, it was MINUS one BIG tree! This company is very capable and professional. I am a VERY satisfied customer of Laan's Tree and Recycling Resources. A great value!

After I received an estimate a date was set to get the work done. I was contacted one day prior to the work date and asked if I minded having it moved 1 day. That was fine with me. They were prompt, friendly, and cleaned up after they were done. I was very pleased with the work and have had many complements on the results. I will use them again in the future.

They have very low prices. They used to prune my trees. Their personal know what they are doing. They work fast and are very thorough. They send a crew of between 4-5 people, so they are able to get more work done and in shorter amount of time. When they come, they grind up all the tree limbs from the property. Everything is removed and perfectly clean when they leave.

THE CREW WORKED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND DID NOT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE OR DISRUPTION TO ADJACENT AREAS. THE TREE WAS IN A PLANTER AND THE ROOTS HAD TO BE DUG OUT BY HAND. IT WAS A TIME CONSUMING AND TEDIOUS JOB. DONE VERY WELL.

DID A VERY GOOD JOB. SHOWED UP ON TIME. CLEANED UP ALL THE TREE LIMBS AND LEAVES. WAS KIND AND COURTEOUS. WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM IN THE FUTURE AND RECOMMEND TO MY NEIGHBORS.

IT WAS WONDERFUL. I MADE ONE CALL, HE GAVE ME A BID ON THE PHONE, CAME THE NEXT DAY, HE HAULED ALL THE LEAVES OFF, AND LEFT. HE DIDN'T EVEN WAIT FOR ME TO PAY HIM, HE CAME BACK THE NEXT WEEK TO GET PAID.
