Academy Mortgage

Description of Work: I went with Academy Mortg Co to refi my home. They were efficient, prompt and charged a competitive rate with the current percentage rate at the time I obtained the loan. It was a 30 year fixed @4.125%. It usually costs a little more to get a fixed rate. Monthly payments were $983.84. Loan amount was $203,000. I have since paid the loan off, and they were equally prompt in processing the pay off. My only complaint was the challenge being connected to the correct department that handled the pay off process. This should be more user friendly, but I'm guessing not very many people pay off their loan as quickly as I did. There was no pre-payment penalty, but the usual fees that go with this process. which were minimal. I received a confirmation letter on July 1, 2014 that my loan was paid back in full.
