Called and made an appointment with Greg for a repair for a certain date and time.  They were a no show.  Waited all day for them and heard nothing from them about cancelling the appointment.  I called their office several times and only got an answering machine.   The have no respect for their customers and I can only assume this extends to the work they do for their  customers.

The work was great, and he finished promptly. He had a lot of good suggestions, and I'm enjoying my new, efficient heater!

I called Fassbender on a Monday morning and was surprised to get an appointment for a service call later that afternoon. I can usually tell in the first 5 minutes if a repairman knows what he is doing, and it was clear this person knew his stuff. He approached the problem systematically, did some tests, and refilled the low refrigerant level. He then explained what was the likely cause of the leak, but said that for him to fix it permanently would entail evacuating the system and refilling it again, at more expense. Instead, he suggested that he do a temporary repair that would keep the system running for another season or two, and then calling him back once the refrigerant level had gone down again, thus saving money and getting the system operational right away.
I was impressed with his overall knowledge, but even more impressed with his forthcoming nature and basic honesty. I could tell immediately that this man would not overcharge for services performed, and would not recommend unnecessary additional service, materials, or parts. All in all, this service call rates an 11 on a scale of 1-to-10.

I called him and he helped me right over the phone.   He could have easily came and charged me money to fix this simple issue but instead he helped me right over the phone and I am very great full.
