Received a quote from Tuff Shed via Home Depot. I Purchased a Tuff Shed through Home Depot. At no point during any conversation or e-mail was I advised that I would need building permits and architectural plans. Here's the rub...I'm willing to pay the 300 my city requires, but, TUFF SHED, wants to charge $700-$1200 for architectural plans. The shed I want is from their basic menu...10' X 20'. Nothing special, $3300.00 Something they've have built time and time again. They have been in business for at least 20 years...and they feel the need to charge me additional for architectural plans. The representative, Mike said he asked his boss about lowering the price, he said he refused. I would have strongly considered coughing up $200 more for the plans, but they are greedy. I'm getting a full refund and will find someone who likes my money. This is the adage, "Cutting Your Nose Off To Spite Your Face." They are GREEDY SCAMMERS.
