Beautiful work. We get many complements and it all feels solid. Better priced than the other bidders. Manny was highly recommended by a friend so I was comfortable going with the lowest bid which is not always wise.

It went really well!! He was honest, reliable, pleasant to work with, very reasonable and an excellent craftsman. Not only did he do the intended job in a timely manner, he altered the doors to fit the new floor height, moved our furniture out and back in and did an amazing finish paint job. Atlast I have found someone with awesome work ethic and is awesome at his job!!

Manny is AWESOME!!! I could not be more happy with how the job turned out. I got 10 estimates to install engineered floor in a two story guest house, and Manny was the last and best bid I received. I didn't choose him because he had the lowest bid, however. I knew right away that Manny knew what he was doing and would have great attention to detail. Other contractors could only focus on the problems - how it wasn't possible to match the engineered wood to the solid hardwood in my main house, or how it was going to be impossible to make it look right around the staircase - the list goes on and on. Manny spent almost an hour giving me the estimate, and at the end, although he mentioned all of the issues, he had ideas on how to handle all of them. He somehow managed to almost perfectly match the oak in my house (which no one else could do). He spent a bunch of time grinding and leveling the downstairs (slab) floor (no extra charge), and it turned out amazingly level! It turned out more level than I had thought possible (the room was very sloped and had a large high spot in the center and one corner). What he did around the staircase looks amazing. Also, I didn't have the treads for the spiral staircase when the wood was installed so Manny couldn't quite finish. I was nervous having him come back out - what happens if he is too busy, etc. (I've had bad experiences with some contractors). I contacted him when the treads were in - he scheduled me and came out and got it done. I cannot recommend Manny enough. He did a wonderful job for us!

Manny, or Manuel was my guy for the job on a house in Northridge undergoing a complete remodel, He did a great job prepping very difficult uneven flooring, which we were very concerned about, his prep work basically smoothed out the floor enough for a perfect lay down of the wood. He was on time and went above and beyond in his approach to the job, even offering to install base board in other rooms that were not included on the bid for the same price, at one point we ran out of baseboard and he went to Van Nuys just to get the extras for us simply as a courtesy and to finish a job, he was under no obligation to do so, but he did it any way. This is the kind of above and beyond service I do not see in contractors today. On top of that he flat out did a good job on the install. Fair pricing, good quality work, and an above an beyond attitude in his style of business, makes this review the least I can do, and I will definitely use him again. I highly recommend Manny from Superb Flooring.

I have been working with Manny Castro for the last 10 years. He was first referred to me from a family friend and I used him to re-surface the old oak flooring in my 1956 home. From there, I referred him to several family and friends and each of them had an excellent experience. As a school principal, I used Superb Flooring for a number of projects at the school and parish - he installed several different flooring types throughout the campus in classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, etc. I recommend him with great confidence for a number of reasons: 1. Consistent: I have never hear anything less than excellent to the dozen or so that I have referred to Manny Castro and Superb Flooring. Use him with confidence for your installation, resurfacing, and repair needs - he is excellent! He is talented beyond flooring as well, which is a typical mark of someone who is an expert in their field.
